Re: Position
Under the gun you are first to act. you would need to have a very strong hand to play this. small pairs 2-6 could be binned especially if there's a few folks that like to raise. I wouldnt play small pairs from this position unless the table is full of callers. Ax suited also could be binned as it can't stand a raise. Forget about suitedness as it only adds about 2% to good hands. An A9 suited is a big underdog to A10, AJ, AQ, AK and AA. all hands that folks could be raising with. you dont want to call their raise in the hope of hitting a flush as more often than not you wont hit your flush.
anyhow thats all for now poker fans . If you have any questions just ask |

Re: Position
I have said that before myself scottie
'but it was suited' Now it's just something people with experience say to imitate a poker noob. I remember that Jennifer woman saying it as a laugh to Daniel 'im up my own arse with godliness' Negranu. I'd love to see that Smith fella (wit the hat) slap Daniel Negranu. Actually im away to start a new non poker related threwad in the poke forum |

Re: Position
Nah, i'm joking komp. You are right, suitedness isn't a reason to play a hand you wouldn't normally.
