Re: Tough spot with bottom set
I really should have put the results for this up before I went on holiday, sorry guys. I very very nearly folded this but called at the last second after thinking long and hard. He had KdQx and I held up.

Re: Tough spot with bottom set
Hi jezza, just reading this hand for me its a easy push on the flop after the re raise. no-one re raised PF which rules out the over set, you dont want any more cards out here so its all in and either kill the hand there or make them pay for fishing

Re: Tough spot with bottom set
Hi Soapy,
Soapy I agree with you mate reraising all in on the flop is the best play. Its the play I have basically always done in the past in this situation with basically a lot of hands in this spot (AdKx, AdQx, AdAx, any set etc). I just played this one a little differently for a change. I agree you can completely rule out QQQ for him also but I do think its possible he shows up with TTT on occasion. |

Re: Tough spot with bottom set
Yep Jezza he could have tens or indeed flopped the flush, either way you got to pay him so i would always rule them out and guard against the draw.
