The tourney started with just three players, with Chonky Wonk announcing he would be late. He wouldn't feature throughout.

The tournament lasted just under 1 hour.

Kop666 was first to go, when his AJos came up against Samoan's pocket 10's. A 10 in the flop gave Samoan a set but a Q also gave Kop the straight draw. No help on the turn or river sent Kop packing in 4th.

The next 40 minutes was heads up, with Chonky Wonk unable to feature. Samoan and SuperTyke battled in a war of attrition, with SuperTyke just about edging things but it was Samoan who came out the victor after three key hands.

The first saw SuperTyke move all in on the turn. When the cards were revealed, it was SuperTyke who led with top pair, nines. Samoan required help from the river and it came in the shape of a 10 to give him the straight.

More battling came and went before another key hand.

Again, SuperTyke moved in with top pair and Samoan called once again, going to battle with a flush draw. The river again drenched Samoan, delivering his flush and evening up the chips.

A few more hands took place, with Samoan moving into the lead.

The game winner came in cruel fashion. Samoan moved all in pre flop, only for SuperTyke to make the call. The cards fell as follows:

My apologies for the absence, we had a slighty scary but also hilarious car crash on the way back from the football. Everyone was ok but the courtesy car is a gonner. Well done to Samoan for the win.
