Re: Discussion - Bankroll management
The standard bankroll management seems to be 20/25 buy ins for your chosen level but depending on your style of play and what games you enter this could be too low or two high. Personally I feel that if your just starting off just rat-hole like a dirty little poker rat. Buy in to the lower stake cash games for the minimum amount and play super tight. When you enter a pot play super aggresive and try to get all your chips in the middle without scaring the other players off the pot. Aim to double your buy in then leave and join another table. I'm told rat-holing or buying in short is a curse on many 'proper' poker players but it can be an easy way to build a tidy bank roll and gain experience.
