err am I missing something here? Blogger and wordpress.com also offer everyone free blogs and webhosting...

also hosting your blog on someone elses domain is a bad idea for too many reasons to list.
you mention banners etc? why would you want your punters to sign up for stuff on other peoples blogs/sites?

ps. since we are talking about poker blogs - I am after some pokerblog link exchanges for my poker blog's blogroll - anyone interested pm me please...

Soz Alex i missed you there. yes Blogger and Wordpress do offer free blogs to everyone Alex just like TDP. We offer Wordpress blogs with a little bit more. A little bit more support, a little bit more independence and a little bit more customisation. We also offer people the target audience that they are after and a window to display their wares. We actively encourage them to spam their blogs on TDP. you dont get that anywhere else.

If you host your blog on bloggers or Wordpress Alex as i say you get less than you get when they are hosted on TDP. Why do i want punters to sign up on other people's vlogs and banners? As i believe that to be fair. Give the people what they want. it's not about us Alex its about all of them.

Feel free to get link exchanges with any TDP Blog owner alex. Post in the Blogs forum. Ime just away to add this. It could help-

Usage: Surround the hand you want by the [cards]...[/cards] tag. Separate individual cards by spaces. ps go on and post on one of these forms where they pretend to offer advice and see how long it takes you to get a reply to your answer folks. Too bloody long thats how long. thats why i thin it's best for a group userbase of helpful folks such as ourselves that have been there and done and are willing to help at your fingertips.

It is if it's a TDP Blog Alex. When we move to the new forum we will lok at sigs and our partner links etc s o maybe we can work omething out. we dont have sigs but if anyone with a TDP blog wants to add their then they are more than welcome. I'm up for link exchanges on my blog mind Alex. I'll swap you a link there.

very poor - given that people can add affiliate links on their TDP blogs, I don't get the problem (anyway its okay, not bothered.. just nice to have a few more readers for ones rants innit..)
