The new divisions have been worked out from the finishing positions of last years competition, with all new players going into the bottom division.
There are 4 'TC Seasons' in a real football season, each comprising of 10 weeks.
Players MUST read the rules thread in this forum before playing. They are self explanatory but if there any questions please post them in the rules thread.

PaddyPower, & the prizes, which I assume are
PaddyPower credits, are split like this:
Division 1 - winner £50, runner up £25, 3rd £15
Division 2 - winner £30, runner up £20, 3rd £10
Division 3 - winner £20, runner up £10
Division 4 - winner £10
Highest scorer overall - £10 bonus
Although the following rule is quoted in the rules (obviously) it is important enough to repeat here:
3 no bets in 10 weeks - player cannot be promoted & will remain in the same division unless relegated
4 no bets in 10 weeks - player will be relegated 1 division regardless of finishing position
5 no bets in 10 weeks - player will be removed from the competition but may rejoin in the bottom division if he so wishes
The new divisions have been worked out in strict accordance to these rules as there is no other way to run the competition. Therefore if by week 6 you think you've no chance of being promoted & stop playing accordingly you will fall foul of the above rule. It has to work both ways to avoid it being misused
People just stopping playing causes problems, including the farcical situation of a player from div 3 being promoted despite no winners & finishing on 10 points
The fact hes a mod makes it even worse

Division 2:
Beanie, Gizmo, Swoop, Snowman, Bluemal, Johnnybegood, Cynic, RhysJones, Grga, Igor5, Charly1, Yen Sid, Farnerud, Ivandzo
Division 3:
Tomerc, Daveybazz, TipsterL, ES, Stereoman, Bakakadassa, Danq, Bluemag, Mhaymovi,
Dan Dan,

Division 4:
All previously eliminated players wanting to rejoin, plus all new players. Basically everybody not already mentioned.....there is no limit to the size of this division & if it gets so large we'll simply make a new division next season
