Most bookies have Tszyu as the clear favourite prices around 4 / 9 .
Dont know that much about boxing but is 13 / 8 to big a price for Hatton ?
I think not to be honest.
If have a bet on the fight i would probably go for Tszyu as Hatton seems prone to cuts and Tszyu is a cracking counter puncher even though he has a shorter reach than Hatton.

I,ll probably be going for Tszyu in round 7 , 8 and 9.
I would be surprised if Hatton wins ( although i hope he does ) but i think Tszyu is far to good for Hatton even though he is 9 years older than him i think Hatton could get carried away with the occasion and move away from his game plan.

Anyone else know out about boxing ? Am i wrong with my choice ? Feel free to add your thoughts.

It's such a difficult fight to call Winrew.

Tszyu is a great fighter. One of the best pound for pound fighters in the World. He has a hammer of a right hand and he hits harder than people think with his left too.

Hatton is a great body puncher and a tireless worker. No one knows just how good Hatton is yet.

In boxing 'styles make fights'. Anyone who bangs on about anything else is missing the point. The truth is that Tszyu will not have met anyone with Hattons style before. It's a question of how well he can handle Hattons tireless body work.

If I had to guess I think that Tszyu will catch Hatton with a big right hand early on as Ricky tries to go to work. Hatton has left his chin exposed before and if he does against the Champion I think it will be goodnight.

Having said that I will be cheering Hatton on and I hope he does it for Manchester and England.

No bet because Tszyu deserves to be favourite and the odds are about right = NO VALUE.

Can't wait for this one - Gonna be a a 'slugfest' as they say.. Tsyzu is a genuine boxing superstar, and Hatton has got to be his very best to beat him.. Hatton has home advantage, 22,000 screaming Manchester fans behind him. One also has to question Tsyzu's ring rust..Something like 9 rounds in 3 years. Also there is the question of age - 35 years old - he aint a spring chicken, and with a £2.1 Million pay cheque, and a circumnavigation trip around the world for the fight - Will he be fully motivated and his this his final fanfare?

Still Tsyzu is a quality boxer and the odds are about right as said earlier.. I want to enjoy the fight but I can't resist a small wager on the match going to Hatton on points, somewhat bizzarely you may think as both are big hitters. However I think that this will be a classic.. In the hope that Hatton doesnt cut himself and avoid the big punch early on, I see the crowd carrying him on to a famous body-punching victory with a little biased point scoring!!

Well i'd have said it would have been a close bout but when someone ways in @ 3 lbs over on the scales it just about sums up the mind frame of Tszyu, looks like a last big pay day to me on his behalf and he must be taking the fight as such. Losing 3lb in a couple of hrs will take it out of anybody but even worse when u hav to fight a none stop slugger like Hatton on his own patch. Must be worth@ least a round or 2.

Tszyu been around for long enough and is a seasoned pro and being 3lb over tells its own story, If the fight doesent end on cuts which both fighters are prone too and goes the distance then i can see no winner other than Hatton especially on his own patch.

Hatton @ 3.2's Betfair will do me nicely.

But he has actually had 6 less fights than Hatton and fought 191 rounds to Hatton's 192.

it's a damn cliche but it's appropo for this one - tszyu is just the wrong fighter to make your jump up in class at. i took tszyu last week @ 1.50 and i'm happy enough with that.

just cannot see how hatton can win this fight; if he tries to box, he'll lose and if he goes toe-to-toe, he'll lose quicker.

best chance for him, imo, is to adopt a 'mexican' style and bury his head in tszyu's chest and work the inside; don't even hold much hope of him being able to do so, though.

still, this is one occasion where i won't bother too much if i lose a bet.
