OK call me sucker for punishment but I'm going for the same 2 teams tonight in the baseball !! Boston had took the lead and had the chance to turn the screw and didn't take it. You could argue it was good plays from the yankees to defend but still.....you're not expecting to get 5 hits in a row against randy johnson are you ? You get that and you gotta make 'em count.
The price isn't so hot this time, 2.30 but still decent. Boston also have clement up pitching, unbeaten in his first 10 starts for them. Damon also displayed signs he might be getting back to the ways of hitting. I'm gonna try them again anyway.

I'll try florida again as well but this time the price has plumetted down to a meagre 1.55 But willis is up. He kicks mets ass on a regular basis. Willis is 6-0 at home this season. And against the mets he is 5-0. He seems to eat mets for breakfast. Long may this continue.


Now over to phoenix at san antonio. Anyone who watched the last game will have seen just how important Steve Nash is to the suns. He's certainly gonna have his work cut out tonight if the suns are to stop the spurs running away with the series. Funny thing is, in the last game san antonio played phoenix at their own game and beat them. This is all very well but I don't think this is SA's "style" and they should not continue to try and play like this.
Phoenix will be helped by Johnson coming back. He's their best 3 point shooter so that could help them out a bit.
However Tim Duncan despite almost getting himself into some early foul trouble last time seems to be getting back on his game and when he is playing well spurs are a very hard team to beat. Spurs have home advantage here and have to make it count. They need to try and make the suns play their game, not beat them at their own game. San Antonio are normally a good defensive team and I think they may use their home court advantage to slow the game down a bit and play it the way they want. I've seen how frustrated the suns have got playing san antonio before when they defend well and I wonder if they will try and use the same tactics.
I think san antonio should just nick this...will they cover the spread ? Hmm not sure, I might leave that. I would expect the game to be slightly slower paced though so will have a little bash at the under 214.5 total.

Ok Im gonna get a bit ahead of myself and count boston as in the bag. Bottom of the 8th now but 17-1 lead should do it surely!
Im very pleased with that, boston hit them all over the park. Clemens did the job very well. Johnny Damon had a great game. They took their chances this time and what a difference it made.

Well florida what can I say ? Every time I bet on them they always lose. They must be my MLB bogey team.

After an inital scary high scoring first quarter the San antonio game slowed right down and finished well under the total. I was so tempted to lump on more on the under in running on betfair after the first quarter. One high scoring quarter does not mean the total is going over. Look what happened 2nd quarter, only 28 points !
Looked like spurs were gonna run away with for a while but suns closed the gap a little last quarter.

Ah well all in all not a bad days betting. Had florida won it would have been beefcake but you can't win 'em all I suppose. I'd settle for going 2-1 with a dog everynight no bother.

I tried to post up yesterday but something wouldnt allow me too. Anyways Red Sox are 6-2 and are 4/5 to win the game. What was that all about. Then Miami are something like 7 points up and 2/1. Unfortunately i doubled them up when Miami were 8/15 and had no money left to gobble up the 2/1!!

I really dont understand their pricing up at times. Did you see the Red sox game other night. 17-1 :yikes

Yip I did, I had bet on the red sox again as I had posted up. 27 hits I think it was. They hit them all over the park. And clement keeps his record going for them. The in rumnning prcies on NBA and MLB are crazy. Money is to be had there. A high scoring first quarter does not mean the total will go over in an basketball game. But all of a sudden the price can be 3.5 or more on the under. Definitely worth taking sometimes. And the reverse is true as well of course.
