Couple of games tonight where I think there maybe some value at a quick glance. Red sox at the yankees. Hmmm well boston are certainly not exactly in top form are they ? Lost their last three games and seven of the last ten.
Whereas yankees have won their last four.
Randy Johnson is pitching tonight. OK we all know he is just rather jolly. Although he prefers to pitch from four days rest. Tonight he will be pitching from five, will this affect him at all ? Little mental thing at the back of his mind ? It may have an affect, ya never know. Little things like that can make the difference sometimes. Going on recent form yankees should win, but if betting was as simple as following recent form it'd be an easy game.
I'll try a bit on boston at 2.53, I think there is a little value in that price.


The other one I like is mets v marlins. Florida are host to the mets. Mets are 5-5 in their last 10 whislt florida are 7-3, but currently on a two game losing streak. These past 2 games the marlins have been pretty dire allowing over 30 hits and walking 8 people. I still believe marlins are a decent team though.
Florida are 2.30 to win at home and I believe that represents value, if they can just stop making an arse of the pitching. They're plenty capable of getting runs up, just need to iron out a few pitching errors. No time like the present to start so marlins as slight dogs at home seems to be the play.

Im with you on the Marlins Alien - even though the Mets are my team. But i cant see past the Yankees myself. Yankees at home are on a 15-11 run with 8-2 run in last 10 games where they have been pretty awesome after a dodgy start whereas in last 10 Red sox are on a 3-7 run, so their moral has got to be low although it wont be hard to life against the Yankees!

Only worry i see is that Red sox have a good record against teams from the east (15-10). Not going to bother though with any bets today - saving my money for the "fixed" Italian matches

Yeah I gotta admit I wonder if I am trying to convince myself boston is a good bet. I definitely think the marlins are. On a 2nd look perhaps the yankees game is best avoided, we shall see.
If you were feeling poorly you could even take marlins +1.5 at 1.75 ish, for a bit of insurance.

Boston....inning 6 changed the game. Boston had a great chance to get some more runs on the board but ended up getting 2 men out at home.
Was this amazing defence or bad call from the 3rd base coach sendin them home ? Hmm I'm not sure. They'll wonder how they only managed 1 run from it though. And as is so often the case, these things can come back to bite you in the ass, and they did.

I didn't see marlins game but from the score alone seems it was close.
Bit of a disappoint night there but hey, it happens.
