Re: Australien Football - AFL
Richmond Tigers vs Sydney Swans
H2H: 99 : 74 (1draw)
last: 108:44 ( Round 22 in 2004 )
Ladder: Sydney 8th place / 8-0-5
Tigers 7th place / 7-0-6
The Tigers surprised the football world by winning 7 of their first 9 Clashes.
But since Brown broke his leg, their loosing the past 4 Clashes!
Schauble and Bolton (calf) but they will have tests later this week for comeback on Saturday against the swans.
Sydney won on Monday with only one point against the Magpies from Collingwood.Richmond lost at home cleary 62- 132 against Adelaide.
For me the swans are the winning team!
With the 4 points they can hold contact to the Top of the Ladder and the points must be boundage because the rounds are not easier I think.
So my punt for this clash : the swans will win at home against the the weak Tigers!
West Coast Eagles vs Carlton Blues
for this match, I don´t do any analyses I think!
The top of the Ladder meets the last of the ladder! The odds for this clash would be to sparse to bet it.
For me there is only one winner: the Eagles!
to be continued

Re: Australien Football - AFL
Essendon Bombers vs Kangaroos
H2H: 92 : 46 drawn 1
last: 100 - 79 ( Round 14 2004 )
Both teams won on the last Round:
Essendon - St.Kilda 119 - 104
Fremantle - Kangaroos 44 - 66
Quote:
the story so far
Essendon currently sits at 13th on the ladder, just below the Dockers on percentage, and at six-points out of the eight and only one interstate match remaining this season, is a genuine chance of September action if it can continue Friday's form. The Kangaroos have won two in a row since returning from their home-away-from-home in Canberra with a loss to the Demons, before knocking off Richmond and then travelling to Perth to defeat the Dockers. The win over Fremantle was crucial for the Roos to be top-four contenders, and as a result are now placed with a comprehensive break between wins and losses at eight-five. The Kangaroos sit at sixth on the ladder, but could be as high as third was it not for their lowly percentage.
|
I think that the Roos will have no problem in Essendon to win.
The injuries are not so much and important for both teams that I´ll say that the victory of the roos are not possible!
Punt: Roos wins!

Great stuff Gerry and i'll check out your forum thanks. Does most the major bookies offer odds on this Gerry? If so i'll see if there is any good links off the soccer sites etc.
When does the majority of the games be played Gerry.

Re: Australien Football - AFL
my analyzes from my german forum:
Quote:
Tabelle: 5. 9-0-5 vs. 1. 13-0-1
last game: 108 - 75 (13.round 2004)
H2H:16:13
last in season: Roos 108-85 gegen Carlton (letzter)
Eagles 64 - 56 gegen Adelaide Crows (2.!)
THE MEDICAL ROOM: The Kangaroos will closely monitor young ruckman David Hale, who injured his cheekbone last week in a clash which cost Essendon ruckman David Hille a two match suspension. The Roos will also be hoping to regain Jess Sinclair, who was a late withdrawal last week with a thigh injury, but star forward Daniel Motlop is again sidelined this time for up to a month with a hamstring injury. The Eagles also suffered a devastating injury blow last week when they lost Andrew Embley for six weeks with a foot injury while goalsneak Ashley Sampi and Michael Gardiner are still unavailable this week due to ankle and knee problems.
|
TRANSLATION:
Ladder : 5. 9-0-5 vs. 1. 13-0-1
last game: 108 - 75 (13.round 2004)
H2H:16:13
last in season: Roos 108-85 vs Carlton (least)
Eagles 64 - 56 vs Adelaide Crows (second!)
The Eagles had only one lose against the Magpies in round 9. All of the other 13 matches they won...!
The Roos are one of four teams with 9-0-5 Balance so it´s tight at the first eight of afl!
So I think the eagles will win the match against the roos because there have a run! But every run stops ....
Bets:
away vic of the eagles for 1,50 @ BaW
or the spread "+" for the Roos .. if the spread are higer than 8,5!
...The injurylist are in english ...

Re: Australien Football - AFL
Quote:
Richmond - Essendon Bombers
H2H: 76 - 97
last clash:77 - 155
Port Adelaide vs Melbourne Demonds
H2H: 6-7
last clash: 125 - 52 ( R19 - 2004 )
Outsider: victory Demonds!

Quote: my german analyze for T4Y.de
Richmond - Essendon
H2H: 76 - 97
last clash:77 - 155
The Tigers are missing Brown an Roban, so this both players are very important for the Tigers.
Last Round they won versus Sydney swans with only one point, that´s a
surprise for me, I though the swans made this easily!
But this week the bombers are in attention for the Richmonds!
The Balances:
Richmond 8-0-6
Bombers 5-0-9
The situation at the league are very tight! The Bombers sit on 15th of ladder, but if they shout more goals and behinds, they could be sit on 13th.
There are two points for interessting. The swans want to stay in the first eight. They had good clahes in the past, but the Bombers are not so inefficient. And the Tigers have to subistiut two important players and they have a longer injurylist...
So that will be a tight match... risk-bet: Bombers
besides bet ...

Port Adelaide - Melbourne Demonds
H2H: 6-7
last clash: 125 - 52 ( R19 - 2004 )
That clash I can´t understand, sorry. The Demonds had a few bad clashes in the last rounds.
Port wins versus St.Kilda,Hawks and Western Bulldogs. The Demonds had good clahes, but in the last rounds they lose against West Coast and the Lions.
The Experts of AFL say that Port will win by more than 20 points. So
I don´t think so!
Both Teams haven´t important injurys or long lists... The loses of the demonds are no negative, because loses against the leader of ladder and the lions are no crash for the team.
I say that this will be a tight match, too. But a win by over 20 Points of Adelaide,....No!
Spread +Demonds
and higher risk: Demonds victory!
