Well you can only go on form really , if the fight is thrown it will be visible for all to see. A highly unlikely scenario IMO

I understand what you are saying TrickRick but the way Khan might be looking at this is that he has nothing to lose? We all accept that his opponent is one of the best pound for pound amateurs on the circuit and he's beaten our boy twice already.

If Khan loses it will be put down to his opponent being a great fighter and Kahn still being a youngster. If Khan wins then he goes in to the Pro game with an even bigger contract value.

I still think Kindelan is massive at 1.50 our thereabouts.

Amazing fight and I don't think you can take it away from Khan.

Having said that....

I was suspicious that a shock might be on the cards when I saw that Kindelin's sister lives in Carlisle (she was on TV just before the fight). Now I'm not saying that she could bank huge amounts of cash in England and (with help of others) pull off a betting coup.

We know Cubans (in Cuba) can't bet. People wouldn't take advantage of having a sister living over here would they?

Well Kindelan certainly wasn't as 'motivated' as one would have expected...I snapped up 3.5 on Khan moments before the fight (which slightly eased the pain of my 'drunken bet' - see General Chat for more details) and it was never really in doubt thanks to the additional 'judges button' that Jim Rosenthal kept pressing lol

It stank a bit for me , he just didn't seem mithered at all Kindelan. kept shaking hands between rounds and all. I expected fireworks but got a sparkler instead.

Aye, Kindeland certainly didn't look the class above that he did in the Olympic final. Certainly wasn't as snappy in the punches and Khan seemed to be able to catch him at will at time.

Would like to think Kindelan has enough pride in his record so as not to throw his final fight, maybe he just wasn't up for it?
