Lets finish off this fortnight with a small bet for the final...

Federer More Aces v Roddick

Not an obvious choice, but after betting on Hewitt to have more aces v Fed in the semi, I was watching each serve quite closely. What I noticed then for the first time is Federer's speed of movement on a first serve. Even when Hewitt was serving bang on the lines at pace, Federer was still getting a racket on most of them, and he cuts a big imposing figure on the other side of the net. That shows why he has allowed so few aces all championship long(something like 20-odd in total).

Of course, Roddick is a bigger server than any he has faced so far, so we can expect a few more from the American than someone like Hewitt.

However, after Tojo hit 19 aces by Roddick today, you can see that some well placed serves at a decent(not mindblowing) pace can easily add up to an ace v the American. Federer is superb at mixing up his wide and down the middle serves, and I think he has every chance to outdo Roddick.

Not one for a big bet though.

Hmmm - no real value today in the men's game. If federer plays like he has been he will win 3-0 without a doubt. 3-0 at 10/11 may be a good shout.

Roddicks been hot and cold the entire tournament, i can't remember a game where he has been on top of his game. To give himself a little chance he will need to be at his best the ENTIRE game if he is to do anything.

I also liked the under 39.5 games bet as i can see at least a break of serve in each set and dont imagine it to go more than 4 sets.

Well Federer has a break already. Only ended up taking 2 bets which were the under 36.5 games at 2.36 and 3-0 Federer 2.02 both with Betfair.

Was going to take your aces bet beanie but it was in running all mines were placed so the odds had dropped to 1.7.
