Gonzalez v Johansson

Johansson wasn't so impressive v Rusedski, and while of course his serve will continue to be a weapon, Gonzalez too didn't let Zib get a sniff on his serve(28 Aces), and Johansson doesn't exactly have a killer return. Johansson will struggle to break, so I dont understand the big odds on Gonzalez.

Jankovic v Myskina

Myskina does not look confident, and certainly does not do her seeding justice, and was lucky not to go out to Bohmova in the 1st round. Jankovic on the other hand looks like one of the stars of this tournament, after impressing in Birmingham, only being beaten by Sharapova in the final. Has looked superb so far, and this is the perfect chance to take out a big name to let her star rise further.

Vinci v Clijsters

Clijsters has really been cruising so just how good she is we don't know, but today should provide her first big test against in form Roberta Vinci. Vinci had an easy game v Kremer last round, and put out the seeded Sugiyama in the first, and came into Wimbledon on the back of reaching the Eastbourne semis, defeating Zvonoreva, Myskina, Sprem, Linetskaya etc, so she has the ability and form. At the very least Clijsters will have to step up a gear, and given there are a few question marks still over the Belgian, I think the odds are a little generous on the Italian.

That's cool Kiko...my tips were far too late anyway.

Jankovic match was absolutely amazing...lost first set 6-0 looking utterly hopeless, saved match points at 5-3 down to take the second set 7-5(laid the bet off at this point - was too crazy, but will leave it as a stright pick for the records), then broke Myskina twice to lead 5-1 in the third, before losing 2 breaks to find herself back at 5-5. Eventually ended up 10-8 to Myskina in the 3rd - crazy crazy game!

Gonzalez was a lot more straightforward - straight sets v Johansson, and serving superbly.

Bracialli has broken Roddick too Completely forgot my £2 on that at 11s

I had a punt on Myskina to win @ 2.50 when it was 2 sets all. Gutted towards end as i thought my bad luck was to continue. She was up at 50s at one point in the third :yikes

I didnt think she was going to finish her opponent off. Broke serve in tie break then goes and loses her serve next game. Great game it was none the less.

Ive got a little dabble on Roddicks opponent at 5s. Minimal stake though.
