Will post a preview later as im away to head out to the gym. But i dont think Detroit will be as lucky with San Antonio playing as poorly as the other night, will be a much tighter and low scoring affair - that im sure of!

So onto tonights game - Detroit were in a position similar last year when they went on to win their 3 home games in a row and i wouldnt be surprised if they were to do this again.

Im not sure exactly what went wrong for them in the first two games - their shooting percentage was awful, worst ive seen from them in a while. The Spurs were just on another level and steamrolled their way through the games. Then the tables turned in the 3rd game and Detroit took it to them and played them off the court.

An early injury to Ginobili in the first minute swayed things in the pistons favour with him resulting in only getting 7 points. Im not sure what his condition is for tonight - but if he isnt 100% fit then the Spurs are in danger of being giving another doing over. Duncan also had a poor game only hitting 14 points which by his standards is very low so the Spurs shooting was just not happening.

I cant see their shooting being as bad this time though - resulting in a much closer match. But i still fancy the Pistons to edge it - especially if Billups and Hamilton have the same effect as last game with 20 and 24 points each. Id go with the outright win though, as the handicap is a bit dangerous for me. Not the best analysis as im new to basketball betting and just getting into it but i thought id add my 2 cents!

Yeah I don't think detroit will have it all their own way tonight. I'm staying off this game because it seems to hard to call and the fact I can't pick my nose at basketball anyhow. If forced to make a choice I might take the +4.5 available at stan james for san antonio.

I just can't work this series out so far. SA win at home by 15 and 21 then Det win at home by 17. Would be very tempted to give this one a miss again. Det must win this game, but SA still have 2 games left at home. Will have a small wager on Det to cover the spread -3 at Paddy Power. Only small stakes as this could go either way!

Just woken up so didnt catch the game but Pistons cruise to a 102-71 win :yikes

Going to read game report later but the mini previews are saying it couldve been worse - 15 up at half time. Looks like we won a nice little wager

See what I mean ? Whenever I'm not on detroit they cruise home. OK so they got another game at home, if these 2 are anything to go by they should cruise that as well. Question is can they take a game from the spurs at home ?

I reckon they got the Spurs number now - if they win the third game at home then i would take them to win one at the Spurs, even maybe the first one to win 4-2. Going to go and have a look at the odds of the correct score.
