Hard to pick out value this week Suir. Cannot see past Tyrone, Kerry & Cork as you say while Donegal v Kildare is really hard to predict. As a Donegal man, i think we'll win but reluctant to back that up with few pound.
Roscommon will be up for this game however I think Tyrone are ticking along nicely and should have too much class throughout pitch & should win. By right, Tyrone should have beaten Donegal but for their wayward shooting and they came through both qualifiers alrite. Harte still one of best managers about and this Tyrone team have seen & done it all before so with experience on their side should take it. Odds of 1/5 poor though. Tyrone -3 @ 4/7, HT/FT @ 1/2 or Mark Donnelly who has been playing well and fitted into number 14 spot with ease is available @ 4/7 to hit more than 1.5 points. Should get plenty of supply in game and showed against Armagh that he can score from play with ease.
Kerry v Limerick - cannot see past Kerry here and odds show it with
Betfair going 1.08. Galvin being available again coupled with Kerry performance in first half of Munster final shows class they possess. Although they didnt look great against Limerick in Munster championship, Kerry showed what they can do against Cork and can see them doing same in Croke Park. However where to find bit of value is difficult. Kerry will win but will they be ruthless and put Limerick to sword? Can't see it and tempted to take Limerick +11 @ 8/15. Can see Kerry taking their foot off pedal slightly if they are clearly winning so Limerick may keep it to single digit difference.
Cork v Mayo. Although Cork are missing some excellent forwards due to injury think they still have quality in squad to cope. They look in better shape now than any of last years games when they won All-Ireland. Mayo have decent record against Cork but have been poor past couple years and standard in Connaght has been dropping recently. Cork win is 1.24 on
Betfair while -3 @ 4/7 on
Paddy Power prob tempting on handicap. Should be Cork v Kerry Semi anyway.
Finally Donegal v Kildare. Hard to call. McGuinness has Donegal players in correct place mentally prob for first time ever. Much has been made about how our defensive set up wont work on wide open space of Croke Park but Ballybofey is actually a slightly bigger pitch. Kildare are an experienced side though and McGeeney great manager however they hit a serious amount of wides and this may cost them against a tight defence. Plus i feel Donegal have a much better inside forward line so tipping my own county to win.
