A few bets placed ahead of this starting at 4am....

In quarter 2 Bingham has a nice draw here if he can see of a rematch of his Crucible quarterfinal with Ding, he's 12/1 to win the quarter and worth an interest as should he make it past the first round he should be able to defeat the winner of Cope v Ford to reach the Quarter Final. 0.5pt staked.

Crucible runner up Trump is 14/1 and a value prospect for a 1pt punt. World Cup Runner up Mark Allen is 22/1 to pop his ranking event cherry and is worth 0.5 pt e/w (1/2 1-2). Allen is also in Quarter 2 with Bingham and should the pair meet in the QF it'll be time to green on one of them.

I've backed Bingham orutright at 12/1 for 1pt, he meets Allen in the QF tonight so my fingers are crossed for him (although I have 0.5pt e/w on allen at 22/1, my Bingham payout is now about equal and I get 12pts if he wins it...)

In one of the other quarters I have half a point on Selt to win 5-4 and 1pt on Murphy to win 5-4 at 10/1 and 6/1 respectivly.

Bingham wins to land our 12/1, he's now just 5/1 to win the tournament/

this means that I'm +2.5 pts at the moment.

Bingham makes the final against Williams. Its first to 9 now so I'm backing Williams 9-6 at 7/1 for 0.5pt (coral) and Bingham +2.5 frames at 11/10 for 4 pts (betfred) I hope some of you got on Bingham outright at 12/1 earlier as We might just have an upset in the wee hours.
