Re: F1: Canadian Grand Prix
I think Webber forced Hamilton onto the curb and in doing so didn't help himself. Hamilton did get a run on Button but I don't understand why he didn't go the other side, Button knew he was close but continued on the racing line, too much impatience by Hamilton.
Schumacher is arguably the one that should really be done, he knew he was forcing Hamilton into the wall at the hairpin a few laps earlier. |

Re: F1: Canadian Grand Prix
This is a ridiculous race. I almost said great but I can't quite bring myself to. Whatever happens from here on in Kobayashi has gone yet higher in my estimation but I doth my cap to Schumacher... brilliant drive, the old dog still has it in these conditions.

Re: F1: Canadian Grand Prix
Absolutely ridiculous, brilliant and an awesome drive from Button but ridiculous.
For future I think we can move Sutil down a bracket and Button up one on that "good in wet" chart Frods. |

Re: F1: Canadian Grand Prix
It was when it started drying out that Button was the man. In the wet I think Vettel had everyone's number.
Now I'm just disgusted to see how little I put on JB, haha. Cracking race definitely worth waiting for. Barrichello got in the pts but was done for most places gained by Alguersauri. Good efforts by Heidfeld & Webber. |

Re: F1: Canadian Grand Prix
That was one of the best races I've ever seen, I've not watched F1 for a while but caught the last 20 odd laps as i was flicking over and didn't expect to see F1 on the box.
Brilliant driving by Button but at the end of the day it was the conditions that made the race so good, I think the organisers need to take a good look at this and make F1 like the whackey races where each car has something up its sleeve, like a wee oil spill, a bag of nails, smoke bombs etc etc, now that would make good viewing and we'd have races like that every week. |
