Phillips improved a little, Robson dipped a little, and Phillips squeaks a 5-4 win. I think I'll call it a day for the BDO there, bar the Adams outright punt unless something really jumps out over the next couple of days.

GL with your bets TW - I agree that someone like Dekker just doesnt have the gears he needs at the mo to get anywhere near winning. Bunting probably the only one who can beat Adams, although even then I think the old boy is far too experienced if it came down to those two in the final.

I'm thinking off backing him out of Family Guy tomorrow night - sorry Bunting.

He played really well against Scotty Too Hotty (WTF !!!) and a repeat performance should see him earn a semi final berth

I took the 4/5 with PP and sportingbet on him to beat Winstanley, he should be much shorter IMO. He has looked super confident in both his matches so far while Winstanley was far from consistent in round 1, when his opponent Atkins missed 2 darts for the match.
I've been laying Dekker between 22 and 38 on betfair for the tourney, surely there's no way a player with such a low average can win?! Though if he does I'm down a lot of money! I see Thompson as equally poor, and took 2.3 on Thompson to beat Dekker in the Qfs.

Thompson missed NINE darts (not all in the same leg) to win the match and threw away a 3-0 lead to lose 5-4!!
Was as low as 1.05 on betfair (what sort of people take these odds!?)
I'm down over a grand if Dekker wins the tourney, could trade out for a small loss but I'll let it ride, though if Wolfie loses in the first semi today I'll be sh1ttin it!!

Gives a little over 3pts profit for the tourney, although I never felt I had a good grasp on the BDO tbh - far more match to match variation in players averages.

15pts profit for the 2 world champs tho, roll on the Premier League - no dodgepots like Thomson and Dekker there!

To be honest its a bit pointless betting now given that the months of weekly fixtures boil down to a couple of reasonably short semis/final. Week to week betting should be good though.
