Waterford have shown good form this year and topped Div 4, going unbeaten, Offaly on the other hand finished just one place above relegation in Div 3, having been beaten 4 times.
Offaly were easily beaten by Meath 1-20 to 2-07 in the preliminary round of the Leinster Championship. The real gauge for these 2 sides is Clare, Waterford beat Clare in the first round of the Munster Championship 1-10 to 0-09, Clare met Offaly next and it took Offaly extra time to beat them 2-18 to 1-18.
I will have a bit of Waterford to win @ 13/8 Lads, but, my bet of the weekend is Waterford +3 @10/11 Lads, also generally available.


Munster Senior Hurling Championship Final

4/9 Cork 10/1 Waterford 2/1
Sunday 11th July
Cork are priced up as hot favourites for this, due to their demolition of Tipperary and the fact that they were National League Finalists. Waterford have not been such a big price against Cork in years and a team that pushed Kilkenny in last years All Ireland semi final have not gone bad so quick. This game will be a lot closer than the bookies think and Waterford have every chance. Waterford +2 @ 5/6 Lads.

apoligies for any confusion, realised this when I was in discussion last nite in the pub,
what I previously entered was what I wrote on my dockets! the girl at the counter accepted them too!! they probably won't accept it if it favours me just hope this rain does not spoil things today, Waterford played well tho during the winter in the league in poor weather.
Just to mention also Boylesports give a much wider range of handicaps for the Gaelic Games.

Gaelic Football, Offally 0-15 Waterford 0-10 I had posted that I really fancied Waterford and that the handicap on this game was my main bet of the weekend, but it wasn't to be, Offally were simply to good and had Waterford chasing the game, from early in the first half.

Hurling, Cork 2-15 Waterford 2-15 I posted that this game was going to be alot closer than the bookies thought and it certainly was, collected on my handicap bet here. Waterford certainly will not be 2/1 next weekend in the replay.

Nothing lost, nothing gained this weekend, onto next weekend.

Good call on the hurling, I too fancied Waterford + the handicap in the football but after making the bet I found out that they had 2 suspensions and one of their most influential players was out through injury.
