Jimmy White scraped through 10-8 against Boyle the Scottish postman last night and is up against Ken Doherty today at 10 o'clock.

I really fancy Ken for this one to be honest and I think Paddy Powers 4/7 is more than generous. Doherty hasn't won too many games this season but then again when he has been beaten it has usually been to a decent player. Same can't be said for Jimmy. Doherty sounds quietly confident about his chances of qualifying this year (Plays Swail next if he beats Jimmy) and I think he'll win this one pretty comfortable (10-6 10-5). Going to wait a few mins to see if Betfair price it up better, otherwise I'll take the 1/2 on offer for Doherty.
