Re: Tour De France 2009
sportingbet have a wide range of bets which include the following
Tour de France 2009 (4 July - 26 July) Outright Winner, Podium Finish,Top 10 Finish,Nation of the Winner,The Points Classification,The Mountain Classification,The Team Classification,The Youth Classification,Head to Head General Classification,Head to Head Points Classification,Head to Head Mountain Classification,Head to Head Team Classication,Riders To Wear The Yellow Jersey,Yellow Jersey Special,Winning Margin,Team Of The Winning Rider,Stage Victories,Specials,Team Specials,Riders To Complete The Race,Nation To Win Most Stage Victories,3-Way General Classification Head to Head,Stage 1 not an expert myself but i have some bets every year .. some of my thoughts Will having Contador and Armstrong in the same team be a hindrance , I can't see Armstrong playing second string Cadel Evans did well last year and had a chance to win Carlos Sastre last year's winner , he's with a different team this year who are not so strong Kreuziger won last year tour of switzerland and has a decent chance Wiggins has got to win a stage , but which one? |

Re: Tour De France 2009
Personally I don't see Contador winning. To few stages end at a mountain top. Also the odds on him are to low for a 3 week race.
The odds on Armstrong are also ridiculous. The guys was out of competition for 3 years and is 37. I do like the odds on Evans on the other side. The same for the green jersey. Again the odds on Cavendish are way too low for a rider who never did prove to finish a 3 week race. Also the odds had to change cause Boonen will also participating. The odds on Hushovd are rather appealing. The only clue I don't have is on who do I need to bet for the KOM? I did put money on 3 riders: Moncoutie (the favorite), Martin T. ( a young promising rider) and A. Schleck. Cheers, Dremeber |
