Major League Baseball - 17th April
Right, here goes, I've given the season 2 whole weeks to get going and now its time to play some lines.
Texas Rangers @ Toronto BlueJays - Under 9 runs (1.90) Doc Halladay gets the ball for the Jays and he is a stud, hes almost unhittable at times on his home turf and he should prosper against a pisspoor Texas offense. Padilla goes for Texas and has given up naff all on the road so far (1-0 2.77era) and has a nice career ERA of 3.86 at the Rogers Center. Tampa Bay Rays @ Minnesota Twins - Under 9 runs (1.90) Hammel (Rays starter) made his most impressive start last time out and the adjustments he made in the offseason are paying dividends. He held the surging Orioles to 2 runs in 7 innings last time out and previous to that he had held the mighty Yankees lineup to 4 runs in 6 innings. Boof Bonser (gotta LOL at that name) is his opposite number and he held the Royals scoreless through 6 innings last time out being more aggressive in the zone. He has a career 3.06 ERA in 3 starts against the Rays. Just the 2 for today, all the lines for the sides look pretty spot on for me |
