hockey thread

I remember that theres a lot of hockey fans in TDP

Today theres a friendly game between Germany- Finland. Havent checked around for odds but sportingbet offers 1.909 for Finland to win and it looks quite big in my eyes.
Of course it's a friendly but we have quite capable players playing.
8/10 for me on this one

Re: hockey thread

Cheers, Kilroy. You (the Finns) are quite keen on ice hockey, aren't you.
We (Bulgarians) are still aboriginals about it, but our national team achieved a massive victory over Ireland a few days ago .

Grga was the man for that sport, also Mord has popped up with many good tips. But with the lack of interest those who posted about ice hockey stopped...
I'm keeping an eye on it, but I'd rather follow another one's advice than relying on my own decisions as I'm not the best hockey tipster, definitely

But in a game between Finland and Germany I'd always go for the Finns and that price is too big, indeed. They should be one of the main contenders in the World Champ, starting in May.
So, I'd gladly take Finland in that one with small stake, good luck to us, Kilroy

Re: hockey thread

And if anyone puts up odds on the same friendly tomorrow, the difference is probably bigger.

Re: hockey thread

Thanks Engineer

Now the odds are close to correct. The asian -1.5 looks quite big though! Is
a 2 goal margin enough ?

Yesterday the Germans played a very physical game and we didn't actually score a single goal with all players on ice. 2 goals in powerplay and one goal with one man in the penaltybox! The qualitydifference became obvious in PP though.
Despite correct odds i'm still takeing Finland to win today too.

Anyone know about the Czech team? I know the lost to the Swiss a couple of days ago 3-2 but 2.1 on them looks a tad high?

Re: hockey thread

There are some changes to the finnish team today. Vehanen as goalie and forwards are shuffled a bit but defence remains the same as yesterday.
"we" aren't exactly known for our many goals in the past, exept when playing Sweden

So for today i believe we'll win, don't know with how many but can't see anything else

Re: hockey thread

Mord ! Good!, tell me about "your" team. Was the loss against the Swiss a freak accident? Odds have dropped a bit though
