Nascar - Goody's Cool Orange 500

Tough race for Cars,Drivers and punters, as the good ol'boys run around the small Martinsville track. Previous form points to Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson, but team seem in a funk (apart from Dale Earnhardt), and the prices seem to short (although both could bounce back here). Earnhardt the new boy on the team (and crowd and Nascar favourite) looks to have the best car of the team, and will be on my short list this week.
The Gibbs team of Stewart,Hamlin and Kyle Busch should all go well, and would look for better luck after dominating the Short Track race at Bristol 2 weeks ago, only to miss out at victory lane. Best of the longer shots could be Ryan Newman who likes it here.

Denny is 8/1 with Bluesq..Might have a lttle dabble on him

Well Hamlin went fastest in 1st Practice and then managed to get on the front row of the grid (2nd fastest) in Qualifying.
On a circuit no bigger then a Greyhound track, he is in the right place

Guess who didnt end up backin Denny at 8's..

Hamlin did not look so good in Final Practice today (Still Top 10 Car). However must pass a word on for David Ragan, who has gone really well in all sessions and can be had at 100/1 with Skybet. Must be worth a small look at that price

Well Hamlin did the business, holding on from a hard charging Jeff Gordon in the end. Hopefully a few of you had an interest.
Texas next week should be far more interesting, and I have my opinion of the winner already locked in. Back with my notes later in the week
