Wonder if Ali will go halves on a Bentley with Ronnie?

I think he can probably afford one anyway

Ronnie did say hed cover himself with the bookies after his maximum incase anyone else made one. Whether he got a private deal with a bookie or what not I dont know but you could bet each remaining player yesterday in the tournament at 60-1+ to make a maixmum. I worked out at the time at the odds available hed have to part with about 10k of his 157k if he wanted to cover himself to win 147k profit overall whether another one was made or not. Hopefully he did it
Really heavy scoring in that Ebbo v Carter game. Unfortunately Carter may gain new found confidence from that 147 and be able to get over the line from 9-7. Ebbos still got every chance but the 2/1 odds on him to win from here look more or less right, maybe a smidgen too long but nothing more.
Btw I took the Hendry v Day over 22.5 frames @ 11/10. After the 1st sessions of todays matches, 3 matches were 4-4 and 1 was 7-1, obviously we know which one

Day played like a complete incompetent today, you cant account for that, and I hold out no hope for that wager although I did get some renewed hope when he went 8-5 only to lose the next 3. The second session was littered with errors from both players, very poor snooker. Hendry did play good in the first sesh though. If hes 3/1+ against Ronnie in the semi im having some of that, I think itll be a close one. Hendry will probably be 9/4ish though is my guess.
My 'crucible curse' continues I havent won a bet in this tournament since I bet Steve Davis to beat Andy Hicks in the 1st round in 2006

I checked out my old records and thats 8 match related bets and 6 outright winner bets without a return

. Ive always done well in other snooker tournies though, just one of those random things I suppose.
