David Haye vs Enzo Maccarinelli

WBC/WBA/WBO Cruiserweight Titles.
2.00am Sunday Morning

Any fight fans on here ? , Burt was a big boxing fan , but he appears to have turned into a country gent

David Haye 4/7
Enzo Maccarinelli 5/4
Draw 28/1

Not seen much of Haye , but i have always been impressed by the fights that Enzo has had , any thoughts ?

Re: David Haye vs Enzo Maccarinelli

Cheers, Win. I'm rarely getting involved in boxing but I'm looking for the value there and have had some winners at 3/1 and higher. If I was to bet on that one I'd take Enzo blindly as the price represents value in such a match up I reckon.

Re: David Haye vs Enzo Maccarinelli

2 good boxers and it should certainly be an explosive fight. I personally don't see this one going further than 3 rounds although cant choose between the 2.
I might have a flutter at Hills on the grouped round betting. Haye is 7/2 to win in rounds 1-3 while Enzo is 9/1 for the same bet. Best bet I could see around for this fight.
Really looking forward to this one.

Re: David Haye vs Enzo Maccarinelli

Surprised to see the odds, had Enzo down as the winner for this one since it was announced. No doubt Haye has fought far better fighters so far but Enzo has looked good when he's needed to and I think he'll cause big problems for Haye here, especially as from what Haye has been saying he sounds like he isn't 100% focused.

I'll take Enzo - round 7/8ish.

Re: David Haye vs Enzo Maccarinelli

I wouldent say Haye had fought better boxers but he has fought at a higher level European wise which doesent mount to much outside the heavies.

Nothing between these two but I'm glad to see Maccarinelli take on somebody of his own standing as i'm sick of seeing him being a backup for the commentators of any Calzaghe fight and then spouting off how good he is.

Haye has fought the more classier boxer albeit them being past their best in Williams and Thompson but as both were in there forties how much can u take from them fights?

I'd like to think Maccarinelli has come on another level since joining Enzo Calzaghe and he's not short of confidence just like Joe.

Nice even fight this one and Maccarinelli's not the soft touch that a lot of people think, Hayes not so soft either and does pack a punch but i have a feeling that Maccarinelli under Enzo Calzaghe may have learnt a lesson or two and prove himself too boxing smart for Haye and win this on points.

Re: David Haye vs Enzo Maccarinelli

Yeah I had a little interest bet on it Winrew.
Hayes looked really good and I genuinely think that he can now step up and dominate what is a poor heavyweight division at the moment.
Can't wait for the weekend for Manny Pacquiao v Juan Manuel Marquez now. That one should be another classic
