Re: NFL Week 6
Baltimore-St. Louis
Baltimore held the 49ers to six first downs last week, but only managed to win 9-7.I was big on Ravens -3 and it hurt like hell when I looked the game.315 yards, na TD for Ravens only three field goals by Matt Stover.Srteve McNair has only 2 TD this season and he's questionable again with back injury.Don't know why but I would like to see Kyle Boller play this game.He was good in Week 2 20-13 win over Jets.Odgen and Rolle should return into their places in defence. Rams look to avoid matching the worst start in franchise history. But 2002 one year after they won Superbowl they were 0-5 too.St. Louis has been hit hard by injuries, entering last week's game with only four opening-day starters in their usual spots. One of the biggest injuries for the Rams has been Pro Bowl running back Steven Jackson, who is expected to miss his third straight game with a groin injury.Gus Frerotte started in place of Marc Bulger last week and had three TDs. Baltimore is 0-5 ATS this season. They will win but will the finaly cover the spread? I don't care.My punt is under 37 points. |

Re: NFL Week 6
Chicago-Minnesota
First I must ask myself why do you even consider to bet on Chicago. That defense that brought them Bears to the Super Bowl last season is now allowing 344.8 ypg (23rd in league). With Brian Griese at quarterback spot passing yards will increase. The only way that Chicago can win this game is with passing game.Minnesota is allowing a league-low 62.0 yards per game and Cedric Benson will not have big numbers in this game (btw he didn't have them in first 5 games, only 60.6 yds per game). The Vikings have gotten poor quarterback play as the trio of Tarvaris Jackson, Kelly Holcomb and Brooks Bollinger have combined to complete only 53 percent of their passes with only only two touchdowns and six interceptions. That is why Minnesota's game plan likely will be to get the ball into the hands of running back Adrian Peterson as much as possible. The rookie is ninth in the NFL in rushing (95.8 yds per game) as surpassed 100 yards in three of Minnesota's first four games. Chicago has won six straight at home against the Vikings, including a 23-13 victory last season. Another under 37 game for me but Chicago ML @ 1.457 will surely be in one of my NFL accy bets. |

Re: NFL Week 6
Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Tennessee Titans
I'm going on Titans here.Excelent away team with five straight road wins since Nov. 19 of last season. Overall, the Titans have won nine of 11 games since that date. Carnell "Cadillac" Williams, the 2005 NFL offensive rookie of the year, was lost for the season after tearing the patellar tendon in his right knee during a victory over Carolina on Sept. 30. Michael Pittman replaced Williams as the starter last Sunday, but sprained his ankle in the second quarter and could be sidelined up to two months. So who will run for Bucks?13-year veteran Zach Crockett was signed on Wednesday and Earnest Graham, who has never started an NFL game. Jef Garcia played good this season but this will be tough game. Tennesee ML @ 2.260 is my pick. Whimps can play Tennesee +3 |

Re: NFL Week 6
Just a little note: Philly is 8-0 under Andy Reid coming off a bye week
![]() So far I'm just one New England -5. I don't care if this games in Dallas, I'm riding NE until they lose. I'll have a couple more plays and will be posting them from the tail gate at Qualcomm for the Raider/Charger game. GO RAIDERS!!! |
