Toronto v. Oakland
My Pick: Toronto @ +120
Going against my beloved A's tonight. Tower's last trip to the mound resulted in a quality start a feat he hadn't achieved since April. Towers will look to continue an Oakland club that has struggled against right-handed pitching at home (13-14), averaging just 3.3 runs per game. In contrast, Toronto does their best work against left-handers (14-9) where they are averaging an impressive 5.1 runs per game. Even better is their performance against left-handers in away setting Sun where they are averaging an even more impressive 5.8 runs per game! That’s not very good news for left-hander Lenny DiNardo, who, similar to Towers, will make his seventh start since being promoted from bullpen duty. DiNardo is also 0-1 with a 9.60 ERA in eight career games against Toronto. Look for a Yankee hangover and a Blue Jay win.
Florida v. San Diego
My Pick: San Diego @ -125
