Another poker variant popular across UK poker clubs is 6-card Omaha. It's the same game as traditional Omaha with six hole cards instead of four. Players can still only use up to two of them and the five community cards to make a hand. As can be imagined, six-card Omaha is wild and unpredictable.

The hand that a player starts out betting and the hand that player shows on the river might be completely different. Though UK players might be waiting a long time to see a 6-card Omaha event at the World Series, it still remains a favorite all over the UK.
Why don't you start your own Jezza?

Re: Omaha

Far Far FAR too involved a process to do that komp!

However it is a great idea. Not 1 single online card room offers this game yet it is hugely popular in the UK. A definate gap in the market.

Re: Omaha

I'll have a look into it sometim Jezza but obviously it's an old boys club and not just anyone could start it. Im interested as well why shouldnt we have our own tables on TDP? I'd love to offer folks a variety too.

Omaha freeroll feeder () with sportingodds is 16:30 today folks. Oh Jezza have you ever played either of these? :p

Re: Omaha

Well tonight I had a little go of some 4 card omaha.

My friends were playing at a 1/2 dollar cash game. I suck at 4o so I just bought in for the minimum to be a short stack gambler (40 dollars). I lost this then reloaded for another 40. Soon after I lost another pot and was down to my last 3 dollars 50. All in preflop the next hand and called by 4 other players I flopped the nuts and my hand held. I then proceeded to go on an awesome run of cards (and also I prob bluffed about 3-400 dollars worth of pots, I dunno I was just in the omaha zone or sommat) and ran up what was probably my best ever short stack gambooool result. My friends have all long since gone to bed and I am still playing. Ive been on this table for a good 4 hrs now .
