Poker Room Review: Virgin Poker

I was a bit worried as al their adverts were in a horrible jobby brown and i didn want to have to look at jobby brown all night. what me thinking here...it's virgin...Its Tubelar Bells, richard Branson, beards and red for the blood of a virgin.

Playing Interface-

Quite nice. Like paradise poker and probably the other comanies that cant seem to make their own poker software without having to go through big poker software suppliers. A bit space age but that soon goes when you realse the big bubbles are actually an ok way of doing things. the hand history is terrible and i couldnt use it in play.. Thew tournament structure seems to have no filtering and its all a bit hit and miss. Jump in here or jump in there. Not good.

I will continuie this later when my head doesnt hurt so much. got the dentist too in the morning. actually the blinds are again flying right up. Here i am playing a stt, 9 left and the bb is more than a 10th o the avg stack. Get us in and screw us syndrome i fear.

Re: Poker Room Review: Virgin Poker

allow me to add my thoughts.

the check button turns into the call button across on virgin and all skins on the same boss poker network. this is a fundamental flaw and is disgusting. this flaw has been in the software for years.

the new bet 1/4 pot/ half pot /max bit overlays over the hand strength - again this is bad.

the windows don't resize.

you can't choose a seat

the virgin skin is a disgusting blend of colors..

handhistories are often corrupt, and undreadable by pokertracker or properly by pokerhand.
cash hand histories lack currency type info.. Duhhhh

I love boss network b.t.w , much room for improvement tho.

I thought PT could read the Boss network Alex? That's a big problem if it can't.

Re: Poker Room Review: Virgin Poker

it can (and gametime+ works on boss too..) -however it galls me having manually to add currency info into hh's before i pokerhand a hand, and the odd hh is "unreadable" to pt apparently.
