Well one of my favourite artists has rturned with what is the best song ive heard so far this year.

Video is great - paying respect to some of her favourite old skool records. Some great choices too.

my favourite new music is actually old, ive rediscovered the first two gun albums, taking on the world, and gallus, i forgot how good a band gun were, the albums also feature some backing vocals from a certain miss sharleen spitteri who was singer mark rankines cousin, great stuff i would recomend anybody to give a listen.

Finally got round to hearing the newish Coheed album, got some really great stuff on it. Id compare the sound to something like Rush meets Iron Maiden with some At The Drive In.

If I had to pick a track id go for The Hound

did taylor hawkins not play on a couple of tracks, i have heard some rush comparisions though mrmuze.

Yeah Taylor Foo Fighters Hawkins played the drums on all the tracks off that album. Not a part of the band though it was just cos their now new drummer was still under contract with his old band Dillinger Escape Plan.

The Rush comparisons are valid although to be fair its mainly his creepy girl like voice is why

I like high singing voices though. They are also grandiose and fantastical like Rush though
