The Hills Have Eyes

Anyone seen this?

Went to see this a few days ago and my oh my, what an absolute piece of fucking shite this was.

The worst film i have seen at the cinema for aslong as i can remember.

The acting and scenes were so poor they were cringeable.

Apparantly this is a remake too. Wes Craven i think did the original?

Imdb rates the remake better too :loon

Just thought i'd warn anyone thinking of seeing this to save your money or go and see something better

You should write for Empire Kiko you get paid good money for that sort of analysis

Ive not seen it or the original, but are you a fan of the horror/slasher genre Kiko? People who arent generally find horror films shite you see

I dont see anything wrong with remakes personally. Ive never seen the hills have eyes as its now out at the cinema Im more likely too. First time I seen texas chainsaw was the remake and the same with Psycho as well. Then I went and viewed the originals afterwards. Horrors seem to get a lot of remakes.

Aye i am a big fan Mr M but this was a major let down although a couple of scenes (the head blast and chopped fingers were good) but bar this it was shite.

As for horror remakes. I was the same with the texas chainsaw massacre with the remake being the first one i seen which was pretty good.

Not often we see the remakes coming close to the originals is it

well, horror movies lately have been really profitable for hollywood. Mid-low budget and most of the times on top for at least one week of the most seen movies and in this way thay sell more than what they cost. Most of the viewers have an age between 16-25, doubt that no horror fans have seen the originals, so you can see the reasons why they are remade. Bring new life to old movies that were already a good brand in the past years is a pretty easy and simle idea, but quality has rarely been comparable to the one of the originals.
