Ricky (played by Robb Wells) — Enjoys marijuana, hash, alcohol. He is Julian's best friend. Bubbles claims that Ricky taught himself to read (minimally) by working through the instructions on frozen food packages labels so that he could eat.....
....Ricky often uses his own caustic brand of anti-humor knock-knock jokes with an insulting, expletive-filled punchline, such as "Fuck off." His standard outfit is track pants and a cheap shirt that is often the same for an entire season. This is backed up by the statement that he has worn it for a little under two years. As a season progresses, he may hold his shirt together with duct tape.
...He is addicted to smoking cigarettes. In one episode, he uses nicotine patches to quit with his nine year-old daughter, Trinity, who also was addicted. (It didn't work; he was smoking while wearing multiple patches.) In one episode of season 4, he was smoking three cigarettes at once
Bubbles (played by Mike Smith) — Julian and Ricky's best friend and conscience, known for his hoarse voice, absent-mindedness, and coke-bottle glasses. Abandoned as a five year old, Bubbles lives in a tool shed with his cats, who are his only family. He makes a living by stealing and refurbishing shopping carts. ....
Bubbles' evil alter-ego is a ventriloquist dummy named Conky, who he constructed in grade six. The pair bear a striking resemblance to each other. Every time Bubbles operated the puppet, it took over his mind and was very fond of insulting Julian and Ricky, especially the latter
Julian
Julian (played by John Paul Tremblay) — "The brains" of the outfit, he is smarter of the pair and the leader of the group, although he does claim that Bubbles is the 'sharpest person in the trailer park'. His main goal in life is to get rich quick and retire, a goal he works towards with a series of drug related activities, stealing items of value under $1000, and 'investments'. Also, he is sometimes referred to as Alch-y (for alcoholic) and Patrick Swayze, due to an arguably close resemblance, which he can't stand being called. He is very rarely seen without a drink (usually rum and Coke) in his hand, and always wears jeans and a black t-shirt. The sound of ice clinking against glass follows him everywhere. Likewise, he refuses to put down the drink even when he is partaking in heists and public buildings, having the drink in one hand, and a firearm (a Beretta 92 in early seasons and in Season Five a Colt 1911) in another. Julian has emerged from rollover car crashes with his rum and coke completely intact, and has carried Cory and Trevor with his drink and gun as well
does anybody know what episode has a guy with a big fat gut and his top (boob tube sort) only covers half of it and guy keeps saying 'You looking at my GUT ??)
Somebody at work swears it's the best and by the time he gets to the end of the story he cant speak for laughing so hard
I just watched that one the other night Kegman. It will be late in series 3 or early series 4 Kegman. I love it when Ricky tells him 'to fcuk off' as only ricky could.
Aye theyre great George. Best of it is that the characters grow and grow as they go on. My fav is still s1e3 where Ricky has to get a job in a porn fiilm (you no what im saying) to buy dope growing suplies so as he can get his ex back as she only goes with him as he grows good dope.
And then there's Ricky begging for smokes off anyone he meets
The character is Hotel Manager Phil Collins Kegman and i believe he shows up a few times (could be on the movie too) i think it's s4e3 I'll watch it again here and tell you the times if so
First aired: 4/25/2004
Julian, Ricky and Bubbles open a massage parlour in the park. J-Roc and DVS (Detroit Velvet Smooth) attempt to get J-Roc arrested to increase his "street cred."
Watch this movie if you want to understand the beginning of the tv series. I highly recommend it!
After a psychic predicts his death, a small-time hoodlum named Julian hires a cheap documentary film crew to document the last few days of his mis-spent life. This is the the film that pioneered the show of the same name.
This is an early film "Pilot" for the hit Canadian tv show Trailer Park Boys. It was played to executives at a few networks before Showcase decided to sign them up for a tv series. Great acting and a very funny cast make this one of the best cult comedy films. The movie plot is that these two small time criminals go around "exterminating" peoples pets for money. If you have a dog next door whos barking all night these are the guys you go to! But they get into trouble when they come across a job too big for them to deal with and end up in a shootout.
