1 The Painter - Nice enough accoustic number from Neil. typical Neil young song which could make its way onto Greendale or any album really. Nice wee riff on the accoustic all through it and some nice bassy accoustic changes and some pedal steel thrown in. Aye a nice wee opener that...."its a long road" makes you want to wave you arms. Still struggling with the vocals Neil is but it suits me just fine. think i'll roll a wee smoke up as this goes on

2. No Wonder - starts just like Captain Kennedy. Chanting vocals. Soz was rolling all through that. I aint keen on the vocals or vocal delivery on this one but i real like the musical breaks with neil banging his accoustic and the irish pipes and indian sounding stuff. sounds like the prarie is all about america and 9/11 and stuff. Not a great song but nice.

3. Falling Of the Face Of the Earth - nah i dont like this weepy Neil Young stuff. Quite poor. Probably took Neil about an hour to write this. His singing on it is awful too.

4. Far From Home - Quite upbeat with some horns of some sort. Sounds like another average Neil song about this and that. Not bad but throwaway really. Sounds like a jam. Nothing special. Infact i dont like it really.

5. Its a Dream - Lone piano with a bit of slide.
