KING KONG Trailer Airs tonight on tv.

Lot of hype and secrecy behind this film. No one has seen Kong yet and will probably be so until you watch it. With Lord of the Rings director at the helm what can go wrong?

The scene with Kong fighting the T-rex should be wicked :D It will be released on stations of NBC and the Volkswagen website tonight.

For those of you who get American channels:

The specific schedule for the airing of the teaser trailer on each of the NBC networks is as follows :

Quote:
NBC -- immediately following "Fear Factor"

USA Network -- immediately following "Law & Order: SVU

SCI FI Channel -- immediately following "Stargate-SG1"

Bravo -- immediately following "West Wing"

Universal HD -- immediately following "Airport '77"

MSNBC -- immediately following "Countdown with Keith Olberman"

CNBC -- immediately following "Cover to Cover"

Telemundo -- immediately following "La Mujer en el Espejo"

Mun2 -- teaser trailer will premiere during the two-hour block of

"The Roof."

You looking forward to it youself Keeper? I loved the original and went to the cinema to see the 1976(??) follow up. To me im still amazed (dont over do it now Komp) by the big spider and the t-rex of the original. I feel Kong's pain

nah away with with you Keeper. King Kong is a classic ONLY due to its astounding efects for the time. I watch 1932 Kong in amazement as this was the dawn of moving pictures. To remake it shows no invention imo and i think theyre hoping we're an unsuspecting audience.

Re: KING KONG Trailer Airs tonight on tv.

Loved the first one mainly cause i was a kid @ the time and also like Godzilla but i'm fcuked if i would watch it now never mind a remake, never saw the last remake of it either.

Probably be great for kids as the original was but the original will always be a classic and always in black and white in my mind.

The same goes for 'The Fly' too, frightened me to death as a youngster in fact its the only film that made me hide behind the couch and the bit @ the end where he was stuck on the spiders web shouting 'Help me, Help me' haunted me for yrs, The remake with Geoff Goldbloom did nothing to improve on the original , i cant see why people have to remake classics as your 99% sure to fail.

Surprised nobodys tried to remake 'the Birds' yet, maybe they have and i aint seen it but its a rocky rd to walk.

I thought the remake of Dawn of the Dead was pretty good.

Anyone got a web link to this King Kong jamboree?
