Bands That Were 'Good' at the Time but ...

shite really.

I wasnt a fan of Climie Fisher but i remember all the talk of how he was the next big thing. I had two more but forgotten them

slade were once called the new beatles too i read. they were ok mind. Anyone suggest a Slade album track to me? Not a single but maybe their best album track? ta

the best slade song acording to Noel Gallagher is "how does it feel" I can't fault him there.I saw them live years ago they were a superb live band

Funnily enough I was thinking yesterday about Barclay James Harvest who were one of my faves for years.I checked the web for info and was shocked to discover thet drummer Mel Smith died last year.I have very little of their stuff on cd but 13 or so albums on vinyl....I'll have to set up my tuntable

they were a midlands band going by their accents.They were one of the best live bands I've ever seen,in fact some critics in the music press used to put them down for sounding too perfect on stage.They actually did a song full of discords and dodgy timing and called it "Critic's Choice"
