Re: Atari ST emulation

PLus it wasn't a case of the ball being "stuck" to your foot and just go on a maizy run like all the others. You actually had to control it etc, yeah great gameplay.

Re: Atari ST emulation

I remember when I used to have a morning paper round, and used to get C+VG from the newsagent as soon as it was on the shelf. Gleaming it was.

Awesome read.

BTW I'm trying to remember what Alien Syndrome was like.

Was it like an Aliens type of game?

Re: Atari ST emulation

PLay it on the emulator
You went round a variety of rooms shooting thingies and once you had cleared them all out and defused bombs I think or something you got the end of level boss.

Here does this help....

I would have called myself ALIEN but that name is always taken everywhere so I modified it to aliensyndm which usually isnt. Plus alien syndrome in itself is rather amusing

Yip ! IK+ which stood for International Karate +
Was the followup to International Karate, and strangely enough I was playing it last night.

excellent Alioen cheers mate I remember it would have been '89 and i was 19 and me and all my mates would just sit in having huge world cups with up to 16 folks entering it. It was my ST so i was the best but everyone claimed to be the best (it was my older brother actually who was the best). Used to love going on a wee mazey run by 5 players and slotting it in the corner. Player manager came out in the summer of 1990 i believe as i used to phone a games shop at Gunnersby Pk in west london every day waiting for it to come in. When they told me it had i was waiting outside the shop for it to open next day. Loved playing me as Player manager up front. some epic Rover of the Rovers style performances. I got a 17yr old from leeds to my 4th div side and chanced him in the milk cup semi final. We were 1 down v his old club but i got one back withabout 10 minutes to go. Into injury time this young kid i had taken a gamble picked up the ball on the wing, cut inside past 3 players, changed direction and beat another then rounded the goalie to finish sweetly. I was in tears for him. It was a fairytale. We got beat in the final and he had a stinker though

Re: Atari ST emulation

Want there another game called Alien Syndrome involving Dalek type things alien? It was on a highway with obstacles to pass as you went. Might have been called Highway something instead though.

I loved North and South. Used to take loads of acid at the time and play it. Can still hear all the noises. I liked a Hostage type game made by a french company who also could have done Lotus esprite turbo

Re: Atari ST emulation

Lotus Espirt was a good one.

Just been playing some of the old arcade classics, strider, wwf superstars, alttered beast, bubble bobble (one of the greatest ever games) galaga.....

All im missing is old lady by the counter to change my quid into 20ps..

I cant believe how small these files are, less than half a MB! After playing the game, I just had a look to see what all the old wresting stars are upto..

It seem alot are either recovering drug addicts or alcoholics or have passed away
