Well Dundee Uni Poker Society will still have small events even though term has finished and the exams are upon us. We always continue to play in the summer. You'd all be welcome to join in the fun - we have alien after all and he's not even a student (though I notice he's not played with us for a year!)

Just got a text through. Graeme caem 6th and Neil 5th. Neil's KK ran into AA in a massive pot. Boo, I honestly thought he'd win it.

1st place is WSoP main event package OR any WPT event of your choice.

I was just walking past the venue on my way home and popped in to see what the crack was.

Some guy from Strathclyde called Daniel won. Apparently he wasn't too bother since he'd never heard about the WSOP.


I was up half the damn night thinking through my decision to go all in. I eventually decided it was a good move but not when so close to the money. With 2 cards to come and 14 outs I had around 50% chance of hitting my card. But with my over the top re-raise all in my folding equity was huge and was worth an effort. But I should have waited until I had some money banked till I did it.

The guy from Strathclyde that won is the guy whos aces beat my kings. I'm fairly gutted, i was chip leader going into the final table and felt like i was gonna win.

2 minutes and it's all over, nothing I could do. Still happy with 5th though, all I have to do now is win the VC student poker champs

Out in 4th spot but I think I beat all their players. Last 3 MTT's I've had 1st, 4th and a 7th not bad for me. Very strange tonight, all their players seemed very quiet, not one single chaaaaaaarge all the way through.
