Re: 18 month contracts!!

Thanks for the help but i'm sorted , only took a phonecall to 02 and i'm on a 12 month contract (half price to what i'm paying now/MONTH) and 50 quid for the phone. Thats peanuts as i'm saving 30 quid a month cause it was for 2 phones and after 3 months i'm quids in.

basically i'm saying when ure contracts up even if u like the phone u have get a new one and better deal even if it means selling ure upgrade phone on, i could make 300 quid on my new phone and keep my old one which would more than pay for the curent 12 month contract if i wanted.

Aye sorry Slick - its meant to be us coming to you for help on things like this not the other way around

Although, where is brit bulldog when you need him?

I have had my current phone on contract for 2 years now. Still in mint condition and a top phone too. When i was due a free upgrade a year ago i just got the most expensive one available and then sold it on ebay for a nice sum.

Due a new upgrade again in a couple of weeks and i dare say i will be doing it again

Re: 18 month contracts!!

Vodafone online did do 12 AND 18 month contracts. As you say, it's to stop them from having to give away new phones so often I reckon but the lure was that you got more free texts/minutes per month if you went for the longer term one.

Ive never been one to be very bothered about changing my phone every year as long as it's working OK (not being a poseur ) but it's sods law that the first time I go for and 18 month contract I need a new phone 12 months later

Details are in another thread in here on Sony Ericson. It's the K700i and it's by far (by far, by faaaaaaarr) the WORST phone I've ever had in my life. My first one was bigger than a house brick but I'd rather go back to that than have another one of these shitty things.
