i was given a Samsung d900 and bought an o2 payg simcard: most things work fine from the o2 site settings download, but i cannot send or receive MMS. (i get a dns error message if i try to send - and MMS sent to me end up on my website account)

i assume one can manually install settings - and i'm hoping it's easy and someone here can tell me how to..

From memory I think you just have to ring up your network provider and ask them to enable messaging and that's it. I think there's a delay while they do it but nothing has to be done from your end.

I know it's all under the 02 banner but they're all broken down into different franchises I think and thats why they ask for your number when you ring the 02line so they can but you through to the particular bunch of bastards who are taking your dosh.

i have just called o2 and it wasn't switched on just like you said

anyway it'll be switched on in 24 hrs
