i will make china my bet of the week took the evens - lebanon seem to be the weakest team in the group they only have two players who play outside the country-there star player roda antar has said china cannot win away and we will beat them-hopefully this will spur the chinese on also singapore has won there -watching clips of lebanon on youtube shows they are defensively poor and chinas 3-2 defeat to syria included 2 penalties against them-the chinese are not great away but this will hopefully represent there best chance to put that right also the clips i have seen of lebanon at home were in empty stadiums

Just reading about thailand's chances tonight. theyve drawn both theyre games 0-0 so far. they are at full strength tonight also. singapore got beat 6-0 last time. I dont know if thailand are the bet mind. Its on tv here in about 5 hours so any info appreciated as i'll pop downstairs and watch it in the bar.

Indonesia will be without the services of defender Ricardo Salampessy for their 2011 Asian Cup qualifier against Kuwait on Saturday after suffering a torn left anterior cruciate ligament.

The 25-year-old Persipura Jayapura player sustained the injury during the Indonesia Super league champions’ 1-1 draw with Persiba Balikpapan, raising doubts over his participation in the Black Pearl’s AFC Champions League campaign next year.

Indonesia coach Benny Dollo is also sweating over the fitness of influential striker Boaz Solossa, who picked up a slight thigh injury in the same match.

Indonesia are bottom of Group B with two points from two matches following goalless draws with Oman and Australia.

that was a good draw for thailand at Iran. Looks like thailand have a real problem scoring goals. dont mind me im just looking at this one so as i can be a football hooligan in thai bars. bah. Thanks Hastgill. I never backed Thailand as i didnt want to go out to watch it. I had an operation on my eyes today and its left me a bit sore and not in the drinkign mood. Wish i was cheering them on in a bar with some thais. I'd have done a big turn to the crowd with my arms up in the air when the third goal went in (if i had backed them)

yes komp china were backed off the boards i thought evens was generous they won not easy but they did they did the job-the game was stopped for ten minutes due to crowd trouble was praying it would not be abandoned ooh i love asian cup competitions

I might go watch thailand v sinapore on wednesday. I wont though will i? i'd have to stay in bangkok for a night and i aint paying for a hotel whilst i already have one. anyone got any thoughts for the next games? Kuwait didnt win as easily as expected on saturay. what about that middle east powerhouse Iran to get a win?

no komp these fixtures look too close to call i could not trust iran or kuwait and like you say there was not much between them.two qualify from each group which makes it harder-i would be interested in uzbekistan but short price
maybe in running is the best bet
