England have a raft of injuries and according to SSN, Lampard is the latest to pick up a knock. However, I'm not overly keen on backing Brazil, just purely because we have such a great record under Capello. |

Re: International Friendlies 10-18th November
I fancy Serbia as my bet of the weekend;
Squad: Goalkeepers: Vladimir Stojkovic (Sporting), Bojan Isailovic (Cukaricki Belgrade), Zeljko Brkic (Vojvodina Novi Sad) Defenders: Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea), Antonio Rukavina (Munich 1860), Nemanja Vidic (Manchester United), Neven Subotic (Borussia Dortmund), Aleksandar Lukovic (Udinese), Ivica Dragutinovic (Sevilla), Aleksandar Kolarov (Lazio) Midfielders: Dejan Stankovic (Inter Milan), Gojko Kacar (Hertha Berlin), Nenad Milijas (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Zdravko Kuzmanovic (Vfb Stuttgart), Radosav Petrovic (Partizan Belgrade), Milos Krasic (CSKA Moscow), Zoran Tosic (Manchester United), Milos Ninkovic (Dynamo Kiev), Milan Jovanovic (Standard Liege) Strikers: Nikola Zigic (Valencia), Marko Pantelic (Ajax Amsterdam), Danko Lazovic (PSV Eindhoven) VERY strong squad they are taking and N. Ireland showed against Slovenia that they couldn't handle a team that were both physical and could play football. The Serbs were terrific in qualifying beating France by a good few points and i think 5/4 on them here is a cracking price. |

Marko Pantelic is out,Radomir Antic called Dejan Lekic (Red Star player) to replace him.I agree,price looks very good but i will wait further news before placing any bet. |

Re: International Friendlies 10-18th November
Zeljko Brkic (gk) is def out and Ivica Dragutinovic (sevilla def) is unlikely to make it missed last two sevilla games, they have been replaced with Nenad Tomovic (genoa) and Jagos Vukovic (PSV)..Im interested in this game also will look closer tonight..

Re: International Friendlies 10-18th November
Im fancying';
Serbia to beat Northern Ireland As the poster stated above, Nothern Ireland just wont be capable of dealing with this team, whether it be a friendly, world cup, home, away etc etc Wales to beat Scotland Wales are by far the better of the 2, but thats just my opinion England to beat Brazil I sound crazy here.. I Know! My picking behind this is.. England will play against Brazil like a world cup final.. remember when we beat Argentina a few years back in a friendly and it was like we'd won the world cup? Also Brazil put a silly second team out in real World Cup Qualifiers, So i cant imagine what shambles they will put out in a friendly, England will be up for this, Braziil are by far the better first team, but under these circumstances... WHO KNOWS? |

Re: International Friendlies 10-18th November
Im also thinking Spain will do Argentina over easy enough..
Argentina were pretty poor there last few competitive games, And Away from home they are worse.. Spain win is the likely one here. |

Re: International Friendlies 10-18th November
Not overly convinced by Serbia now, got a lot of withdrawals it appears..about 6 have withdrawn from the squad skipper Stankovic (Inter) has withdrawn Vidic looks unlikely to play either, a few players are with the U21's also, not sure if they are regulars though..leaning against this one which im a bit disappointed about as quite fancied it earlier in the week..there is often quite a lot written about the 'mentality' of Serbian players in general on other forums from Serbian punters and people from that part of the world, basically lacking motivation in unimportant games, might be a load of crap..see they have won their last 3 friendlies though, prob leave this one i think which means its sure to come in! Might be open to persuasion though..

Re: International Friendlies 10-18th November
I was thinking that scotland might be able to beat wales this weekend. I know wales have had the better of recent friendlies between the two but maybe the time i right for george burley. he was talking about changing the team to suit Mcfadden upfront. that and Wales having a few out. Obviously you dont go daft on friendlies but ive got a sneaky feeling scotland could do something.

Re: International Friendlies 10-18th November
I think,yes.Serbia still have better players and two wingers Krasic and Jovanovic are in good form.Last match in Lithuania was few mistakes in defence (Subotic) but pitch was awfull and referee should be banned for decisions he made on that match.
Coach Antic said he will try something new but win result is very important.I dont know what he meant when he said something new and i am not sure he will even try different things.Serbia will go for win and they have real chance to accomplish that. I didnt decide about stake,yet. In what condition is the pitch and whats the weather forecast for saturday? |
