African World Cup Qualifiers 10th-11th Oct
10 Oct 11:00 Mali v Sudan 1.40 4.00 7.50
10 Oct 11:00 Nigeria v Mozambique 1.25 5.00 11.00 10 Oct 11:00 Tunisia v Kenya 1.25 5.00 11.00 10 Oct 11:00 Zambia v Egypt 3.60 3.40 1.90 10 Oct 13:30 Malawi v Ivory Coast 8.00 4.20 1.36 10 Oct 15:30 Cameroon v Togo 1.44 3.75 7.50 10 Oct 15:30 Gabon v Morocco 2.20 3.20 3.10 11 Oct 11:00 Algeria v Rwanda 1.14 7.00 13.00 11 Oct 11:00 Benin v Ghana 3.25 3.25 2.10 11 Oct 18:00 Guinea v Burkina Faso 2.37 3.10 2.87 (when I paste odds they come out funny so I dont bother!, feel free to put them in if you have the abilities i lack) Ive prob taken more of an interest in the African Qualifiers this season than the european ones..not sure why really but they do seem more reliable for betting from what i've found, im no expert on these (Kponkpa show yourself!) but I have watched a fair few of the qualifiers this season and can make reasonably educated guesses.. Tunisia v Kenya - This is a 1.25 shot for Tunisia, which is obviously not too appealing but i will happily play them on the handicap..Tunisia have edged ahead of Nigeria in the qualification race but know they have to win this game to maintain their lead, and im expecting them to do this in a professional manner..they beat Mozambique 2-0 earlier in the campaign and they are a better side than Kenya, although i know this basically means nothing! They have only conceded 3 goals in 5 home games and none in the last 3, this is partly due to the 4-3-2-1 formation that the coach employs but he may switch that around for this game but I doubt it..they are top of the group and know they have to win and with no particularly bad team news to contend with i expect them to beat the handicap and win to nil.. Kenya are in a bit of a mess, their FA is saying they do not have the money for the flights and they are missing their best two players..Mariga, who plays for Parma is injured and top-scorer Oliech has been dropped after repeatedly falling out with the coach or possibly because his release letter was never sent to Auxerre (his club), no-one appears to be sure! He's not playing anyhow..in the last 10 away WC qualifiers Kenya have drawn 1 and lost 9! I watched their 3-0 loss away to Nigeria earlier in the campaign and they were not the worst side i've seen they were not impressive at the back and they certainly looked more comfortable attacking than defending.. Tunisia will have to be patient I feel but if they get an early goal it will set them up nicely, however im more expecting a defensive Kenyan side who will look to counter attack whenever possible but in their two missing players they have lost two major weapons..i expect a 2-0 win but i am wary of a 1-0 win for Tunisia so my bets will be.. Tunisia 1-0 7.0 2-0 6.0 3-0 8.0 -1 Handicap..no odds as yet Last edited by MickeyPaul : 08-10-2009 at 18:26. |
