Re: World Cup Qualifiers: 10/11th June
recently on sky i have saw ecuador play brazil and chile and been impressed with their attacking play.
argentina dont seem to be firing under maradonna and lost 6-1 to bolivia last away game, the value on the home team for me. the game is live on sky on weds night so their could be some value betting inrunning |

Re: World Cup Qualifiers: 10/11th June
I agree mate. I think it's a win and a pasting since Maradonna took over and, as I said when the last matches were on Ecuador is one of those countries where even fellow south amercan teams struggle.
They were a far better team than Brazil on the day too. I'll be laying Argentina I think. |

Re: World Cup Qualifiers: 10/11th June
being scottish I would love the Macedonia v Iceland game to end in a draw but I do think Macedonia will win but I do hope Holland dont go into easy mode now they've qualified and go out and pump Norway.

Re: World Cup Qualifiers: 10/11th June
Ecuador - Argentina
After slow start of this World cup quailfiers, Ecuador managed to get to the 5th spot at the standings, and now real fight beggins. Last game against Peru, Ecuador played without 4 players, and for this game 2 important defenders Ivan Hurtado and Giovanny Espinosa are back, along side influental midlefielder Antonio Valencia, and forward Felipe Caicedo are back in starting line up. Argentina is great side no doubt. But Maradona as national coach? Don't get me wrong, Maradona was great player, but he is not exactly the brightest man on the world. Cocain addict, something like football Mike Tayson, in my eyes, now he want to lead one of the best national selections on the world, and Argentines apoint him at that spot... Not the smartest thing to do IMHO. For this game Maradona can't count on Aguero who is injured and Mascherano is suspended. High altitude is not possitive thing for Argentina squad, Ecuador plays excellent at home and I think this is good odds for this game. Ecuador AH0 @2.08 188Bet |

Re: World Cup Qualifiers: 10/11th June
Probably the game of the night in the European Zone has to be Finland v Russia..
Second and third in the Group behind Germany, both will need to get something from this game and to be fair, although Russia look the faves (well around 4/5) Finland certainly are performing well looking at thier recent home qualfying performances winning 2 and a creditable 3-3 draw against Germany.. Although Russia are the favourites I am not sure that Finland should be 4/1 ![]() I do think they will make it difficult for Russia for a game they won't want to lose. You can get 11/10 with Stan James for +0.5 handicap, but there is a better price with laying Betfair.. Finland v Russia - LAY Russia @ 1.8.. 5/10 stake (Betfair) |

Re: World Cup Qualifiers: 10/11th June
I'm going to chance a small bet on Bahrain the beat the Australians.
Australia should have beaten the Qataris on Wednesday, but in the end a draw was enough to see them qualify for the world cup. However, that long trip will no doubt have taken it's toll with the team only arriving back yesterday. Lucas Neill is ruled out after deliberatly picking up a booking at the end of the Qatar match, Mark Bresciano and Carl Valeri have gone back to their club sides, while injuries have forced out striker Josh Kennedy, midfielder Richard Garcia and defender Scott Chipperfield. Bahrain have been training in Australia since last Friday, having not had a match over the weekend. They will be slightly weakend by the loss of injured striker Ala'a Hubail and suspended midfielder Abdulla Fatadi. Bahrain pushed a full strength Australian side all the way to the third minute of stoppage time before falling to a Mark Bresciano winner. However, with Australia missing at so many first choice players, I could see Bahrain sneaking a victory should they play to their full potential. I will be erring slightly on the cautious side by taking the Asian Handicap on Bahrain. Bahrain AH(0) v Australia @ 6.50 - 1 point (BlueSq) |

Re: World Cup Qualifiers: 10/11th June
Put a BIG single on Iran to beat UAE today, which considering their price is probably asking for trouble considering their price..maximum risk for minimum profit!..they are at home in front of about 100,000 fans, they are in danger of not qualifying and have to win this game to have a chance, they havent won lately but have been creating plenty of chances without putting them away..UAE are bottom 6 losses 1 draw and no wins, they are hopeless away too..dont expect anyone will be as retarded as me and put on a big single but worth putting in as accum material, if thats your thing!..
