Italy jumped way out in price because they barely beat a poor New Zealand side 4-3 after being 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2 down!
Spain look nailed on for this tournament with the squad they have!
Brazil missing a few big names and haven't really been playing the best in WC qualifying scraping past teams like who was it the other night? Paraguay? Were 1-0 down and ended up winning 2-1 after a few nervy bits of defending

I dont know the format dee after the group stage (1st v 2nd?) but i did learn today that this cup is used as a 'practise' for the world Cup (in a stadia sense)

Holy hell South Africa's price has been shreaded to hell. 1.80 into 1.62. Is anyone interested in his game? Im still finding it hard to want to bet on it. RFO are suggesting the draw due to South africa slipping to 72 in the fifa rankings and Asian champios Iraq are on their way up to 77th

I was becoming drawn to Iraq a wee bit Komp as I remembered kponkpa not rating South Africa too highly a few months back in the World Cup qualifying thread. Had a quick look and this is what he said back then (26th March)

I have watched South africa a couple of times and i havent been that impressed. They are still trying to build a team for the world cup which they host. I know for that match their top striker Benni MacCarthy of Blackburn wouldnt feature because of a hamstring injury. i dont know how far their rebuilding thing is going, but they are an equally poor side as far as i am concerned. From what i have seen of them South africa might even struggle to beat Malawi now, but as i said they are rebuilding a team so things might have improved, but for now i will put them in the same bracket with Malawi Mozambique Sudan Libya Zambia and Angola. Currently the top african teams are Cameroun, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria and Ivory Coast.

Morocco, Tunisia, Mali, Congo DR and Togo follow closely.

Algeria, Rwanda, Kenya, Guinea and Gabon are teams i will even rate above South Africa currently.

I am sure things will improve for South africa, they play good possesion football and will have to work on their final ball, but as i said earlier they are rebuilding their team so things might change in their favour.

I dunno. I know Everton's Pienaar plays for them though and he's impressed me a lot when I've seen him (with the exception of the FA Cup Final I guess).

averyone seems quite kean on iraq in that link of yours mick. Maybe iraqi fans are more prone to posting on the internet than south africans. south africans are quite shy people.

south africa being backed all week does worry me mick. 4/5 and into 8/13. Maybe the hosts HAVE to win I think im just gonna leave it mick. sod it i'll take a wee interest in 1-1. nah i dont do correct scores. I'll just stick to the horses i think. good luck if you take it mick.
