U17 European Championships

Germany U17 vs Italy U17
Well i picked Germany out last night at 4/5 but the time i got into town Lads / Powers were both going 8/11 so i've took that and it's still available but as low as 4/7 at bet365! Backed them againt the English and they duely obliged. Left the Dutch game as didn't know if they would leave out players due to already being qualified but no they went out and beat a talented Dutch team 2-0 and look odds-on to take this trophy altogether!

The Germans absolutely demolished their groupees;
vs Turkey 3-1
vs England 4-0
vs Holland 2-0

Italy scraped threw in 2nd by beating France on the last game of the groups;
vs Spain 0-0
vs Switzerland 1-3
vs France 2-1

The Dutch (2nd in Germany's group) played the Swiss (top of Italy's group) and won 2-1 and baring in mind that Switzerland stuffed the Italian's and the Dutch were rolled over by Germany this looks an absolute steal at 8/11!

Verdict : Germany U17 8/11 Stake : 9/10

Forgot to mention this tournament is also held in Germany and the Germans have fitted the matches around the times of students going to / leaving school to get the games packed and so far attracted over 20,000 people to the three German games so far! So a big crowd has been cheering these players on which must give them a big boost!

Think i'll be backing the Germans to repeat their comfortable 2-0 win over the dutch in the group stages again in the final!
Hopefully get even money, monday morning kick off!
Italy just tried to contain the Germans which worked up until the very end and got a bit tired while Germany had the likes of Trinks coming on, the Dutch play attractive football which will allow Germany to play their game and should win the final too!

haha! Wouldn't go anywhere near Eurovision no interest here even though i seem to be dragged towards it when i sit in work (ladbrokes) - though 11/10 for any country to win seems absolutely bonkers!
Nope i'm a united man and we'll win the league tomorrow! haha

Great stuff dee, watched the second half and Germany looked very good and the second goal was class!! Good start for my weekend anyhow..be glad when this bloody eurovision nonsense is over!

Germany priced at 8/11 , they are playing at home and they beat Netherland 2-0 iin the group match when they were already through to the semi , not the evens you were hoping for dee

Nope which puts me off backing them heavily. Were priced at 1/1 against England, 8/11 against Italy, and 5/4 i think when they played them in the group so definately not much value in the price.
Have taken them in a double with CSKA today but wouldn't want to back them heavily at a pretty low price against a decent Dutch side.

Well CSKA scored a penalty in the 85th minute so looks like i have a good bit rolling onto it after all!
I did my bet in Paddy Power though and the woman just said that she would give me the odds that would first appear for the game, but as of yet Paddy Power has not priced the game up so don't know if i have a single or double bet yet!

Well Holland went 1-0 up early on, should have had a second when they went 1 on 1 with the keeper and hit the inside of the post. After that early burst, Germany absolutely bossed the game.
The Dutch keeper tried to command his box everytime a cross came in and barely ever got there causing scrambles in the box but Germany just couldn't convert until in extra time!
