Holland moved up a gear right after I posted. Disappointing goals to concede really. Pretty basic. I can't even shout on a comeback, it's horrible.

c'mon Mickey you didn't really think we had a chance did you !!! i mean bloody hell have you seen the three of them at real madrid alone feckin hell in 3 months they went from being as close to piss poor as you can get then Robben decides to refuel his jet heels and finds his skill, Huntelaar moans about the damage to his international career and then scores 8 in 6 games, and wesley loses his wieght and regains his confidence. We got backward barry and A jim'll fix it motley crew just to patch us up. If commons,hartley,boyd and the defense were present i would have been more optemistic but knew what was coming.

I didn't think our chances were great, no. Hence my harping on about Holland to win to nil throughout the thread. I thought Scotland were doing ok though. Holland weren't looking great but they're always capable of moving up a gear. The kick in the bollocks for me will be Scotland scoring a consolation goal.

He is actually a top top keeper but more and more errors are creeping into his game right now which is being blamed on many personal issues he has going on.

Top performance from Northern Ireland it must be said.

As for the Scotland game, I actually thought bar the 2 goals in the first half we were VERY comfortable. Wednesday is the big game, anything Scotland gain from trips like today would be a huge bonus but not expected.

I also think Georgia are worth a punt to win in Cyprus. They played Ireland recently in Dublin and were much better than i expected. Ireland struggled to a 2-1 win and were really lucky to do so. Georgia have some good players such as Kaladze and a few others, and at 3/1 with William Hill look overpriced.

Elsewhere, i like the look of both France and Italy to win their respective matches. But i guess theres no prizes for guessing that!

Poland were shocking yesterday i just didn't see that happening at all. But, full credit to Northern Ireland who deserved their win. Meanwhile, Georgia mounted something of a comeback in the second half but nevertheless couldn't turn the tables on Cyprus. I also fancied and had a bet on Serbia to beat Romania at 5/2 with Ladbrokes but unfortunately hadn't a chance to post up my views on it yesterday as i wasn't near a computer for much of the day. Anyway, midweek brings new opportunities.

Ah JP, don't feel so bad now, you just gave your honest opinion like the rest of us do, its entirely up to everyone else to take it up and put their hands in their pockets. In fairness there was a Polish landslide being predicted only Ceirtlis and I seemed to be of a different opinion. Don't blame Boruc, blame the players that left men get into scoring positions.
Full credit to the North, they wear their hearts on their sleeves unlike our boys in the South, We are shite but we don't know we're shite. When you go one up at home in the first minute, you go for the jugular and finish it off, Too many average players in the middle of the park who can't lift their game, I just cannot see anything but an Italy win on Wednesday.

Dont go against Serbia,Komp.Serbia always had good players.Coach was the problem.Radomir Antic took place and that was bingo.He is great coach and he made great atmosphere and everybody started to believe in this team.Serbia are not in bad
form.Serbia are great form (only last frendly match vs Ukraine was bad but few key players missed that game).Serbia are rock solid at the back(Vidic,Ivanovic (great player IMO),Dragutinovic,Obradovic and Subotic (think he will debut in this game)).Midfield is very offensive (Jovanovic,Krasic on the wings and with Stankovic in the center with Milijas or Kuzmanovic).Attack is good but Serbia needs one more good striker.Zigic is great but Lazovic and Pantelic are not good IMO.Pantelic runs a lot but thats all.Lazovic is just poor.I think Sulejmani is the best solution.
Romania have diffensive aproach.If they continue to play like that draw is very possible.If they try to play offensive that can be good for Serbia as than will be some space for counters .I dont say that Romania wont win this but my advice is dont bet against Serbia.For now no bet for me but there is still time till saturday.

Yes Radomir Antic seems to have turned them around, added them in a successful accum, good insight, cheers mij0sim.

I am glad that you made profit Suir Thing.Also i had big bet on Serbia DNB.Serbia didnt play great but it was decent performance.Romania had the possesion but didnt have many ideas.South Africa isnt that far now
