Re: AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 - 5-28 December
its a bi-annual tournament for the ASEAN countries.
Its co-hosted by Thailand and Indonesia. Given Thailand's current situation, they have shifted the venue from their capital, bangkok to the holiday island, Phuket. Singapore has won the last two editions. Will report back with more info once I got the time. I can sense $$ rolling in. ![]() |

Re: AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 - 5-28 December
Having browsed through the limited markets offered by Bet365 for Singapore vs Cambodia, I would say the best valued bet would be :
HT/FT Singapore/ Singapore @1.30 With Singapore, Indonesia and Myanamar expected to slog it out for the top 2 spots, it may come down to goal difference in the end. Hence, you can expect Singapore to start attacking from kickoff and accumulate a huge goal difference from the first game. Hopefully, Bet365 will add a few more markets later on in the day. BETS: HT/FT Singapore/ Singapore @1.30 (10/10) (Fun Bet): Correct Score Singapore 4-0 @7.50 (5/10) Correct Score Singapore 5-0 @10.00 (4/10) ![]() |

Re: AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 - 5-28 December
INDONESIA VS SINGAPORE 2.25 3.25 3.00 MYANMAR VS CAMBODIA 1.14 6.00 13.00 Both games kicking off @ GMT1230, 9 Dec 2008 The last time Singapore played Indonesia in Indonesia was the 2004 AFF Cup Final 1st Leg. Singapore won 3-1, despite playing against 100,000 Indonesian fans. In this game, Singapore only requires a draw to qualify as Grp winner. You can expect Singapore to sit back, defend and try to catch Indonesia on the counter. A low-scoring game expected. Under 2.5 @ 1.85 (Bet365) --- 7/10 Myanmar will have its GK, Team Coach and Team Leader suspended for the final game against Cambodia. Both teams are already knocked out. With nothing to play for, I would not be surprised if some of the Myanmar players succumbed to temptation and took up offers to throw this game, which is not uncommon in this part of the world. ![]() Cambodia AH +1.75 @ 2.025 (Bet365) --- 5/10 Last edited by abong : 09-12-2008 at 11:56. |

Re: AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 - 5-28 December
Nice picks abong
![]() You werent wrong about the Cambodia game - someone knew something. Kept an eye on the market throughout the match and it certainly looks like it was bent, Myanmar trading at 1.13 at 2-1, which rose and rose continuously to about 1.30 with only 20 mins to go, and then Cambodia equalise. Myanmar then trading at 2.80-3.00 for 10 minutes or so, suddenly big money appears and the price is gambled all the way down to odds on, and sure enough, 1 minute later its 3-2 Myanmar ![]() |
