Re: World Cup Qualifying 6th September
I fancy England to win this one and top the qualifying group on their way to lifting the trophy in 2010.
Lays of Scotland and Republic of Ireland away for me. Israel to beat Switzerland at home and if I was ever desperate enough to back a 1/10 shot, Portugal in Malta would be the sort of bet I'd be looking for. |

Re: World Cup Qualifying 6th September
I was just about to say, Georgia are always a tough prospect at home before remembering there was some.... 'unrest' in those parts:

And are Iceland as bad those odds suggest? There's going to be some shocks among that lot that's for sure. Who are traditionally rock hard at home in qualifying? Get your tips out for the lads. |

Re: World Cup Qualifying 6th September
Hi all forumers, its been a while since i have been here. Its World Cup qualifiers again and i will preview the African qualifiers which also serves as qualifiers for the 2010 African cup of Nations. I know Bet365 will have odds on it later in the week.
Kenya Vs Namibia Kenya simply do not loose in Nairobi. Kenya will win with at least a 2 goal difference so a handicap can also be staked. This is a BANKER so all must stake. Burkina Faso vs Tunisia This is one match i am waiting to see the odds. Burkina faso, i cant remeber the last time they lost or drew on home soil. They have already beaten the Tunisians in the first round and i see them repeating the feat. I will go for a home win. Congo DR Vs Egypt Kinshasa is one hell of a place to visit and Congo DR are very strong. They play the African champions Egypt. Though i am tempted to stake for home win, i will play safe and stake Congo DR not to loose. For me 1x is a safe and sure bet as i dont see Egypt winning and their best will be a draw. So 1x for me. Here are other matches i also think will be interesting but i will only put small stakes on. South Africa Vs Nigeria Nigeria always have the upper hand over South Africa irrespective of the place of the match. Nigeria will have key absentees as Mikel Obi, Yobo and Kanu are out due to injury. I would have gone for a straight away victory but due to the injury situation i will stake Nigeria not to loose so x2 for me is a safe bet. Niger Vs Uganda Niger are a poor side, though uganda have lost their coach to Hearts in Scotland, i still think they have too much for Niger. Away win for me Lesotho Vs Gabon Lesotho are also a poor side and i see Gabon beating them in Maseru. Away win for me Gambia Vs Liberia Gambia should win this one. Home win Benin Vs Angola Pretty tough match, but i see Benin winning, well let me play safe and go for 1x Mauritania Vs Rwanda Rwanda wont loose this game x2 is a safe bet. Good luck to everyone ![]() |

Re: World Cup Qualifying 6th September
I think its time for Ireland to start delivering, decent squad with a lot of players playing top flight football. It isnt even an away game for us we dont have to got to Tbilisi, we play the Georgians in Mainz, Germany. Possibly sentimental but i think we'll win, especially as its a neutral venue.

Re: World Cup Qualifying 6th September
I agree betfly, would like to see us get off to a win but I think we'll struggle in Macedonia.
They did OK in Euro 2008. England only won 1-0 over there and they got a draw at Wembley. They also beat Croatia 2-1 at home - although I think Croatia had qualified by then. They certainly weren't embarrassed in the group with only Russia winning comfortably against them. George Burley hasn't exactly got off to a flier and I just wonder how good he's going to be as national boss. I'll need to see how big Macedonia are I think. |

Re: World Cup Qualifying 6th September
Im getting Macendonia @ 11/5 in my local, looks an absolute cracker price considering scottish injuries, the temperature in Macedonia and their great performances against England in the past few years. They seem well up for this after having a read in other forums. Theyll also be eager to get 3 points at home because harder games lie ahead for them. Ive just seem on boylesports Macedonia are now 13/8
