Have to admit, I did not see the whole game. There was a lot of movement mind, particuarly from those nice electronic ad boards along the sidelines . Apart from that I did notice the grass growing and a bit of paint drying, and beckhams tatoo's...........





On a more serious note, some of you may have noticed Ribery's T-shirt after the penalty and a few messages held up by the crowd.
They were in memory of a sound chap by the name of Thierry Gilardi.
He was quiet rare, a sports journalist who actually knew what he was talking about and had actually played team sports though never making it to the highest level. I've been hearing his voice on radio & tv for the last 17 years.
He had a great passion for football and rugby & sport in general and was genuinely respected by all.
He left yesterday, taken by a heart attack at the age of 49.

I don't expect any replies to this but if all who read could take 5 seconds and raise a glass, say a prayer or do whatever it is you do ................. For Thierry, his wife & his 3 children, whose Papa left too soon. For Thierry

Bosnia and Hercegovina (BiH) Footbal team draw with Macedonia 2-2. First 30 minutes BiH were dominating team, scoring two goals, first coming at 17th minute. In 8th minute Salihović hits wodwork from free kick, and two minues later he is out injured. In this period BiH team is putting a lot of pressure on Macedonians, and after corner kick from Misimovic, Damjanovic scores his first. 3 minutes later he scores second one, after Misimovic and Rahimic good combination Damjanovic hit the net once more.At the end of the 1st half BiH team slowed down, lost desire to play, let Macedonians take the midfield, and away team punished them, 40th minute Pandev has a corner kick, finds Maznov's head who scores. Dying seconds of first half, and Hasagić makes begginers mistake, Maznov is there, uses oportunity and scores second...

In the second half, not much to see, played in the midfield, not many chances,worth mentioning is chance Dzeko had, alone in front of a goalkeeper, but shots few inches away from goal.
